Baby food?!

How much baby food are you feeding your almost 7 month old? It’s been almost 4 years since we’ve had a baby and for some reason I don’t remember!🤦🏻‍♀️

What is something you found out way later than you should have that no one bothered to teach you?

First, I didn’t know you were supposed to get full maintenance on your car every so often. I have owned a car for seven years now, and I’ve never had a full maintenance work over just normal oil changes and tire check. My dad was a literal mechanic and apparently did not think this was necessary information to pass along. We only found out when my sister’s car warranty, that should have been intact, was not because she didnt follow the “recommended maintenance schedule”.
Now just yesterday, I learned that you shouldn’t do too much laundry back to back if you have a septic tank. Apparently it could over run the system. I’ve lived here for like 16 years and this washing machine is almost always going 🤯

What age did you let your child/ren play upstairs while you were downstairs or vice versa?

Rewording my last poll to better get an idea. My 3 1/2 year old has been wanting to play on her own in her bedroom and playroom while I clean/ make food downstairs. Should I let her or wait until she’s older? I love that she’s wanting to gain independence but also worried about giving her too much too young

Nursery selection

Hi all!
My 3 year old will start his nursery in Sept this year. I am choosing between 3 nurseries and have registered with all of them. They all will have home visits. I have a few questions under this topic for anyone with more experience in this.

1. What do you ask in these home visits and when I visit for their Stay and Learn sessions?
2. How do I choose which nursery is best for my boy?
3. How do I politely unregister with the nursery I am not wanting by the end of it all?

Help me understand my frustration 🤣

Why is it when we ask men to do something (granted, not all men) they often tend to say they're 'coming' or they'll do it in a minute or something, and this just seems to piss me off 🤣 like, I'm not your mum to be asking you to do something right away, but still it annoys me that you can't just do the thing I asked, when I asked, so we can move on with life 🤣

My little boy is just over 6 months and doesn’t really seem to do much. He has rolled maybe once nor does he have steady control of his head. I have also been trying to wean he hates any kind of food as soon as it touches his mouth he is sick is this something to be worried about? I didn’t have this with my littler girl

Son just ruins everything he touches..

Like I know kids will be kids but my son who is 4 at the end of this month just ruins everything.. I just can't have anything nice...

He's ruined my RGB mouse mat decided to chew on it for whatever reason... I let him sit there (my gaming desk) so I know that's on me but honestly I'm on the verge of tears because it wasn't cheap...

Just can't have nice things with kids because he even destroys his own toys, so yeah advice to any Mamas out there that have nice things just keep your kids away... 😭
