My baby is currently 7weeks old and I don't know when to start training her to sleep on her own. I love sleeping with her and she sleeps so good with me or my husband but I know at some point she needs to be in her crib. When did you guys start putting your babies to sleep on their own and what tips do you have to help a clingy baby sleep alone?

Hey I’m from Sydney you can start anytime but the earlier you start the easier. I started form birth and my girl was sleeping through the night and clockwork day naps by 10 weeks 😍 I used the book ‘save our sleep’ by tizzie hall it popular in Australia and UK and it helps your baby sleep independently without any strict sleep training or cry it out methods. I always get complements on how happy my girl is, my siblings and I swear by this book, there is a whole save our sleep community for support too and the author has her own business where she can help you individually out too👌🏼😍

All my babies still sleep in the bed with me but I don’t even introduce another sleeping option until at least a few months old and only for naps. My biggest advice is to learn how to switch them from your arms/bed into a bassinet or crib without waking them is going to be your life saver. Which number baby is this?

Never honey. Sleep cannot be trained!
So many things I want to tell you… your baby is biological normal, not clingy. They need someone who I feel safe. Being alone is a life threatening in their instinct! (Also causes SIDS more), baby will learn to sleep more independently automatically, they grow on it, very normal. Sleep training is an industry scam, most methods are abuse and neglect children’s core needs.
