Any tips/tricks? The second she gets in it she’s screaming. I’ve tried not moving my hands away until she’s settled but she instantly cries. I’ve tried waiting until she’s a sleep and then transferring her but she knowwssss.
She’ll sleep lovely anywhere else. Do I accept defeat and order a Moses basket?

I need this advice as well!!

My daughter was like this in her crib, when we had the home visits from the health visitor she looked at the crib and mentioned that it was quite big and spacious therefore baby clearly felt uncomfortable and needed to be snuggled. So perhaps that’s just what it is ?
A Moses basket might be a better idea , we had one of those baby bean bags that our daughter loved and I was sleeping on the sofa with her next to me on it for a few weeks. Eventually she settled in the crib though but it did take a lot of work x

You could try swaddling it you haven't already, that could also help with the large space and help her to feel more secure in the crib

Things that got our daughter down at night rather than us taking shifts holding her were:
A t-shirt that I’d worn put over the mattress like a sheet.
Warming the mattress a bit first.
Using the Moses basket rather than next to me.
Putting the rockit on the leg of the Moses stand to create a bit of movement.
The transition swaddle sleep bags (our daughter didn’t seem to like a tight swaddle, just to be a bit snug).
Hope you can find the things that work for you soon. Xx

Do you breastfeed? If yes, the baby might be able to smell your milk. Maybe try moving baby to your partner's side of the bed.
My baby didn't like her next to me crib when very small, she preferred the moses basket. She's outgrown the moses and in the crib now
