Police

Has anyone else been in a situation where a neighbour has called the police anonymously due to hearing your baby crying? Had 3 police officers turn up at my property to check the kids as someone called to hear them crying. I’m so fuming and upset. I mean if a baby is going to cry they are going to cry.. that’s really upset my evening. They came checked my kids who are sleeping and left.

Sorry you have had to go through this. Luckily I haven’t as my baby gets reflux and constipation due to trialling prescriptions to help the reflux , so she screams on the regular 😖
One my neighbours next door said she never hears mine crying I said I’m surprised as it’s piercing sometimes. But our houses are sandstone

We had a neighbour do this to another neighbour ficticiously. They're really nasty people and the single mum had to move out of the area to avoid them. Her baby was fast asleep when she called and the police insisted on waking her up to talk to her to make sure she was ok

Well, I say baby, she was about 4 at the time

So sorry this happened to you 😢 similar thing happened to a friend of mine in their old place - old cottages with thin walls, her neighbour complained a lot that she could hear the eldest crying, my friend apologised on numerous occasions (but what can you do?!) and this woman ended up 'reporting' them to social services who then had to visit. Ugh.

Should they be banned for life and would you as a parent press charges?

This teacher slapped a primary school student and left a red mark, however she tried to say in her statement that it was an "involuntary arm movement" 😑 I call bullshit... How can you "accidentally" have your arm outstretched, "accidentally" have an open hand and "accidentally" come into contact with a child's cheek enough to leave a red mark? But in the same interview she states that "a challenging classroom situation contributed to the incident". I'm sorry but if teaching brings you to the point of assault then you shouldn't be a teacher 🤷🏼‍♀️ so my questions are:
Should it be a lifetime ban? And would you press charges as the parent?

husband keeps telling me to stop nursing

my daughter is 14 months and my husband has been trying to get me to quit nursing her since she was like 4 months old. it’s been taking a toll on me that he’s not being supportive, i feel like any normal partner would be happy and supportive of their wife breastfeeding their baby for this long and even planning for longer. but he’s been so terrible to me about it. he told me i just shouldn’t even nurse or next baby. why’s he so hateful about it?? he can’t even tell me what he doesn’t like about it, just says i’m going to be nursing her till she’s like 4.

Vulnerability Post

Hey mummas

Just a little vulnerability post …

Im starting to feel guilty … baby girl is 4 weeks and formula fed !

Long story short but constantly hearing Breast is best and people asking me if she BF is starting to get to me …

I cant BF for reasons such as anatomy so I express but finding the time to express consistently is hard that i’m not producing much

And now I feel like I’m the reason for my baby girls discomfort because she hardly gets Breast Milk …

I love this little girl but mentally I’m struggling with my inability to give her Breast Milk

Is this dangerous for a 2yr old?

Wanting to upgrade from cot, my son will be coming up to 2 1/2yrs when I upgrade his bed.

I need something with storage as the room is small.

Is this safe?

Awake but drowsy?!

Does anyone have the magic powers of being able to put their baby down in their cot to sleep whilst awake?
My baby will let me put him in his crib for his morning nap ~50% of the time and occasionally for other naps, but otherwise it's contact naps or naps in the pram or car.
