C section or induction?

I’m 36 weeks pregnant with twins. Both babies weigh almost 6lbs and I’m a petite 5ft2 55kg woman - struggling to say the least!

Ive been told a VBAC isn’t advised as I’ve previously had a c section which means there’s a risk of uterine rupture so it’s best for a planned c section.

However, they’re now saying they can’t fit me in until the day before I’m 38 weeks pregnant OR they can offer me an induction next Thursday!??? This seems to be really contradictory of their advice and I’ve no idea what to do.

On the one hand I’m so uncomfortable I just want them out, I’m not sleeping. But on the other hand I don’t want a VBAC or emergency c section.

Any ideas on what to do?

The risk of uterine rupture is tiny. 0.5% chance which means you have a 99.5% chance to not rupture. The chance of a catastrophic outcome is even lower as they will monitor you throughout labour and if they suspect anything they will do an emergency section.

It's completely up to you but most hospitals are probably VBAC because it's safer than major surgery ❤️❤️

Good luck making your choice. It won't be long till you meet your babies either way xxx

Advice please… 37+5

So since 1am I’ve had slight stomach pain not terrible just you know it’s there and a loose stool🙃woke my partner up saying think baby is on way but it hasn’t progressed to being any more painful just the pain is still there. So went back to sleep the pain is still there but more of an ache than contractions! So do you guys reckon this is a stomach bug or early labour? I feel silly like I should know as this is my 3rd baby but I only went in to natural labour with my first which was nearly 10 years ago😳was induced with my second

Does the name Savannah match?

I'm pregnant with baby number 4. We dont know the gender yet, but both my husband and I like the name Savannah if its a girl. I'm just wondering if it matches in with my other childrens names. They are Eliyana, Aubree, and Luca. If not, what are some other ideas with the same feel to them?

On my way to hospital for induction…

41.3 weeks—Well, going to hospital now to be induced. Was trying to avoid induction but baby isn’t moving as much as he was the day before yesterday and my body and mind is so tired I don’t feel like I can wait any longer. I got a sweep on Monday and it didn’t really work. Although I did lose my mucus plug this morning.

Any positive induction stories? Is pitocin really that bad? What form of induction did you use and why? Trying to not worry so much, could really use some words of encouragement.
