Does anyone have any advice..my friend has a 10 month old and she is now going to a day care 3 days a week as mum has gone back to work.
It’s been 2 weeks and every day she has had to pick him up early due to him not stop crying and being so distressed. Yesterday he napped at 8:30am as he cried so much he was exhausted , she collected him at 10.
They text her all the things they did to try and help and it sounds like they tried everything. They basically ended up saying it might not be the best option for him..
He is the youngest in the group and all other toddlers are walking (1 is 4 years old so quite an age gap)
He is due to start a proper nursery in September so will be with kids a more similar age.
Did anyone else have extreme separation difficulties and how was it dealt with?
Thanks!

My son really struggled with nursery to begin with and i was often collecting him after an hour.
Ask your friend to work with the nursery on figuring out whether its seperation anxiety or the busy environment her son is struggling with.
As my son is an only child he isnt used to the loud environments, we believe there may be sensory issues at hand also
But we introduced some ear defenders and it has changed him completely x
