When parents say their toddler is fully potty trained does that mean they can go to the toilet, do a number 2 and actually wipe themselves?? I am at lost! How can a 2 yr old do these 😳 my LO is good with peeing in the toilet. Lets me know if she wants to pee. But when it comes to poop, she asks for her nappy and does it in her nappy. I have been trying everything but she screams and has a meltdown every time I insist on doing it in the toilet. I really don’t want to traumatize her! But this potty training before they start school is so much pressure!

I class fully potty trained as not wearing nappies at all, at least during the day. I doubt any two year old could wipe themselves well after a poo. You have a while until she starts school so try not to stress, but i wonder what it is that makes her want to poo in the nappy versus the toilet. Do you have a mini toilet for her or is she using the big one?
Could it be a privacy thing in that she has more privacy if she does it in her nappy? We cant look at my son when he has a poo on the toilet, he shouts at us and asks for privacy haha. Does she poo standing up when wearing a nappy or does she squat? Do you read to her when she is on the potty trying to do a poo? X
