Walking !! I’ll be 36 weeks Monday and I’m ready to be done lol.. I had appt today and I’m 1-2cm dilated ☺️ I know he isn’t ready but this momma definitely is.

Also you can do yoga or use a yoga ball it will help and you can also do the dirty deed 😂 me personally I don’t want to be touched so my best option is walking.

It’s quite normal to be dilated by 36/37 weeks to a couple centimetres, I honestly wouldn’t try anything just now as much as it’s annoying you literally want your baby to grow more the brain grows so rapidly in the last few weeks the longer the better x

i remember being fed up at 36 weeks too, but honestly the last few weeks are just as important! i’d be taking these last few weeks to be resting

Decreased baby movements

I am 26 weeks pregnant and I haven't felt my baby move since and 13.30 . My partner says everything is fine and I am over reacting. What does everyone think

Overdue arrival 🥰

My little cherub arrived this morning and I am in love. All growth scans projected 6-7lb but she was 9lb 🥰

Opted for an induction that I was hesitant about due to my previous birth complications. Had the pessary in for 6hrs and got to 5cm. Contrantractions were a bit crazy but praise the lord for the tens machine. It was slow to progress until they broke my waters which was like a tsunami and then it was rock and roll time. Managed an unmedicated birth and pushed her out which im very proud of. A very very healing birth from my last 🩷

Good luck to all you mummas, enjoy every moment and dont put too much pressure on yourselves xx

Emergency c-section

I had a scan today and unfortunately there is an issue with the placenta. The consultant basically said that they will monitor but it is likely that this will end in an emergency c-section. Is there anything you’d take with you in your hospital bag specific to c-section? My last birth was natural ending in forceps

Induction Options

There are talks of my being induced late next week and they want me to have a think about which option i would prefer. I've been trying to do alot of research and the pessaries seem like the popular choice. Can I have peoples experiences please? Thankyou!

Induced labour

My doctor recently suggested that I should have an induced labour at 40 weeks. I think it’s because I went through IVF to get pregnant as he didn’t specify why, I just read it on my notes.

So just wanted to know what were your experiences having an induced labour and is it something worth considering?

Induction

So there is a high chance I’ll be induced unless I go into labour naturally before my due date.

I had an emergency c-section with my first baby and was told at my consultant appointment yesterday that I should avoid any hormone methods of induction as this can increase my risk of uterine rupture has anyone else been told similar ?
