14 wk back pain

Is it normal to get back pain at the start of your second trimester? I’ve been stretching and using ice packs. Has anyone experienced this or can give advice?

I had this! I think it's a hormone thing. It didnt last too long (sorry I can't remember how long) and using a firm cushion on my lower back when sitting seemed to help. Basically make sure you've got good support.

Oh yeah… Pretty painful in my case. It will get better. For me personally, the worst pain came later, it was hip pain that literally took my sleep away in the third trimester. I couldn’t get comfortable and was awake every hour. 😕

She's here! - 8th May

she arrived via emergency c-section after what can only be described as a very traumatic induction at 40 weeks due to GDM and Polyhydramnios but on the 8th May at 40+1, not sure what time as I was out of it but weighing 8lb 1oz not the 9lb 7oz the consultants had been predicting, taken to breast feeding like a champ and is just the picture of perfectness and I am just so in love 🥰🥰🥰

Am I crazy?

Okay, so my husband’s ex’s name is the same as a month. Hoping this makes sense but am I totally crazy for not wanting to have our child born in that same month as her name?

(Context - he has 2 kids with her so she’s very much relevant in our lives)

Probably been asked many times before!

FTM and opting for an elective C-Section. 34 weeks at the moment and feeling woefully uninformed about the whole process. We have a consultant appointment next week but does anyone have any pre and post op advice or tips I should know?

Pelvic Prolapse

Hi all, has anyone had a prolapse before? Either uterus or bladder?

I’m 6 months postpartum, do my pelvic floor exercises and have deep infiltrating endometriosis involvement on my bowel. But tonight I stood up and felt something heavy drop downwards. My partner has had a look and I’ve got what I can only describe as a massive/soft lump now covering the opening of my vag*na. It’s there when I’m stood up and lying down. I’ve got a heaviness down there as well which I didn’t have before.

Has anyone else had this? Any tips to help sort it? I cannot afford pelvic floor therapy as I am on maternity leave and get paid less than minimum wage with a house and 2 kids to pay for!

Thanks in advance

Early scan

This was my scan picture a few weeks ago they told me I looked 5 weeks but I was able to see the heartbeat and I wanted to get opinions on what other people think because my dates don’t match up to my last period
