Ok I’m seriously interested in how much screen time your toddlers get. TV, phone and iPad combined even if it is educational games or tv. My toddler does at least 4 sensory trays every day. We go on an outing. Spend hours on the garden digging, riding bikes etc. but I still feel like he gets too much screen time don’t know if I’m overthinking it.

We were watching about 30 mins of TV in the evening but with the nice weather we've started going on evening walks instead and just watching 30 mins in the afternoon maybe 3 times a week. No tablets or phones other than the occasional video call with family. If mine gets too much she just wants more so it's not worth increasing. She's also pretty chill, she independently plays while I'm getting chores done or "helps"(aka makes it take 10x longer but she's happy so it's fine) me with what I'm doing. I don't think there's anything wrong with daily screen time if they've got a lot of variety in their activities, active time, it doesn't sound to me like you have anything to worry about to be honest unless there's something in his behaviour that you're concerned may be exacerbated by screens?

For a bit we had on music videos (like live music) on for at most 30 mins so I could get the dishes done. I'd noticed they ask for it too much and were acting more impatient in general with things. So I pulled it back to 0 screen time. Sometimes now I may play music the songs they like on my phone but the screen down up high so they can't see it only hear

Most of thier lives we did 0 screens and with the moving in process allowed a little but back to 0 screen time. It's much better this way.

I always have TV on in the background while she’s playing because I can’t stand the silence but she’s only allowed the iPad at the weekend for 30 mins in the morning for educational games

We have tv on all the time for mostly background noise, I’m not strict on screen time so will let her watch 1 or 2 episodes a day of a program she likes. She has a iPad for week use and that would be after we’ve been out all day doing stuff so will have it to watch at dinner and after bath for a episode before bed
