Trouble Transitioning

My baby is almost 6 months old and he was in his moses basket till last night. He's always been a decent sleeper. Till we put him in his next to me. Safe to say I've been awake most of the night. I could maybe put him back in his moses basket for another week. But he's already too big for it.. Suggestions?

I tried my girl in the Cot in her own room for the first time last night and it was awful.
She’s usually such a good girl when it comes to going down at night but she was so upset I had to bring back into the next to me.
I think it’s going to be a bit of a rough week or two whilst we transition too x

I think it's because they've gone from a smaller space to a bigger space, my 6 week old slept in his moses inside the next to me and now just in the nest to me, which I think helped transition. He's in the moses downstairs during his down time and day sleeps. A few days a week or so they should get used to the change x

Your babies must all be quite little… mine was in the next to me from about 4 weeks and we had to put her in the full size cot from 4 months because she was too big for the next to me 😂 we had to move our chest of drawers into the toddler’s room to make room for the full cot in our room because she still wakes every two hours or so and at 4 months we definitely didn’t want her in her own room. She and the toddler are going to have to share a room when we do decide to move her out of our room and that is not a transition I am looking forward to at all, so she may be in with us for quite a long time 😂

I put my baby in travel cot last night (in my room, next to me as not ready for him to go to his own bed) and it was very difficult night… lots of moving, turning , rolling and after 1am wide awake and didn’t want to fall back asleep. He had also bad day with naps so don’t know if this was because of that or because of new ‘bed’. No clue… will see tonight 🤷‍♀️

Anyone notice how Huggies changed ?!

This is the worst thing ever! I’ve been using these for years! First with my son and now with my daughter. First they removed the Velcro tabs which was fine whatever, but now they made them so thin and “soft”, my daughter blows out every single time she poops! I’m SO sad and disappointed, I really don’t know what diapers to used now that are like the original Huggies! (New on left, old on right). I HATE them 😭😭😭

Mums with autistic children

What early signs did you notice in your babies/children?
My little boy is 6m, rarely makes eye contact and repetitively shakes his head from side to side.
I KNOW these can be normal baby things, but as mothers, we can’t help but worry.

Bad words (2 year old)

My daughter this morning decided to find cat puke and put it on my face 🙃😂. My reaction was to say "what the f*ck?!". I was still asleep and woke up to something wet on my face.Well now she keeps saying "f*ck". How do I quickly get her to forget that word even exists? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Normal Development or Red Flag?

Hi everyone!

FTM here, please dont judge. My daughter is 9months and 2 weeks and there is some stuff that she does that im starting to think may be a red flag? Did you experience this with your 9m old? Am i just being super paranoid?

Here is what she does-
-super fast crawler
-great at standing and cruising
-responds to name 98% of time
-showing signs of understanding "no"

Red flags?
-makes great eye contact but not a fan of super up close contact (when being held, etc.)
-babbles only sometimes but mostly only vavava, baba sometimes she would throw mama
-recently started doing this repetitive head noding/rocking (back and forth) when standing or sitting..some days she doesnt sometimes she does it few time ina row
-Smiles at us and at people once comfortable but it takes her time, very serious baby
-was a great sleeper but recently started waking up multiple times a night

Parents with late bedtime toddlers

My toddler goes to sleep late, like 9.30/10pm. I’ve tried getting him down earlier but it just doesn’t work. He still gets his 11 hours sleep in day so he is not deprived of sleep. My question is for other moms in the same situation what do your toddlers do in that 7.30pm-10pm stage when you need to wind down and chill out.

Newborn and sleep

Hey ladies
2 days post partum, I know people say sleep when baby sleeps but did anyone else struggle to relax when baby is sleeping due to concerns around if baby is ok, if they spit up in sleep, etc. etc. I can’t switch off and just looking for some reassurance thank
