I’m thinking to start couples therapy as soon as possible. We have big communication issues. And my husband doesn’t understand that silent treatment and stone walling is unacceptable.

Defo try!

We did it and he quit lol but I still go to counseling. It changed the entire dynamic of things

We never did couples counselling but years ago when we did bicker and get a lil annoyed I’d grab my keys and go, (my sister lives 5mins away, or I’d go to the beach 30mins away, or the mall- retail therapy) i think we both needed a lil space to think and collect our thoughts, but we always bring it up and solve it by the time I come back it never lasts more than a day the “silent treatment” I just needed time to cool down and think and get into a better mood before I bring it up again. Some people just need a lil time, shouldn’t go on for days though.

We did counseling! It was very hard but very good. I had a lot of relationship things I needed to work through from my parents and some other relationship stuff.
It took a lot of work and I wanted to quit some. My husband wouldn’t let us. We still go back to a lot of the things we learned

For us couples counseling wasn't financially in the cards for us (we tried) so we got communication workbooks from Amazon that we do and it's been helping and it's better than nothing so that's an option if you can't afford counseling

We did before we got married & it helped a lot, I’ve been looking for a new one since postpartum has been rough and we just had a loss and need some guidance with communication following that
