Is anyone happy to share there contraception preferences and how it's been. I've not used contraception since I was 20 years old, I had unexplained infertility took 14 years to fall pregnant with my daughter and quick to fall with my son who is now 6 weeks old, so for me it seems I've become more fertile the older I've become... So I need to be careful now our family is complete but im not sure if I want to mess with hormones.. I have my gp appointment in 2 weeks time and want an idea of what I want

Copper coil no hormones. Few cramps and heavy bleeding at beginning but 5 months later and I’m really happy with it.

I had the mirena coil for years - it was great but I found it quite uncomfortable to have changed every 5 years. I made the decision not to have another one fitted about 2 years ago, and went on the mini pill instead.
Since my little girl was born, daddy has made the decision to have a vasectomy.

My girl is 2 weeks old but this is my 4th baby and i was on the pill for years but want to have the implant so I don't have to worry for 3 years
