Nappy leaks

My little one is 8 months and is leaking through the night which is obviously causing him to wake. Any nappy recommendations? We’ve tried Rascals & Pampers premium. We’ve just sized up in Pampers premium hoping it’d help but he’s still leaking 😫

Honestly aldi brand nappies works best for Jace but we use the pull up kind. I have never once had a leak since changing. We used to use rascals.

I use Fred and flo, Aldi brand and Asda and I’ve had no issues!

We had this issue for ages and found we actually needed to size down instead of up to get a good seal around the legs! We also found getting some cotton wool and putting it in the nappy stopped the leaking!

We had a similar issue. I bought reusable nappies from Amazon and popped them over the top of the normal nappy and that stopped any leaks.

We used pampers when he was younger but last couple months he has been on sainsbury little ones and tesco fred and flo. No leaks so far

Same issue! Pampers pull ups are so far the best. Will try the rascals too as they’re the best nappies for us during the day. Biggest tip I’ve been given is to size up in vests and sleepsuits! Made a huge difference as they don’t cut in depending where her arms are x

Just needing support.

April 24th, I made the mistake of not watching where I was going, thankfully it was after I already put my baby girl in her car seat so she wasn’t with me when it happened, and I was ran over by a truck in front of my house. It initially hit me and knocked me down but the back tire grabbed my right leg and pulled me under it. I thought that was it. That was the final moments I had with my family on the way to the hospital. My husband breaking every traffic rule to get me there because I didn’t think I had time to wait for an ambulance. In reality if it was my time, I didn’t want to go in front of our home, I didn’t want that for them. I just remember holding my little girls hand while she babbled away telling my husband and her how much I loved them, telling my husband to promise me that he’ll have her know who I was and that I never wanted to leave her. I ended up in the icu followed by multiple hospital stays and more appointments to come. I have multiple broken ribs, a broken back, I had internal bleeding from my liver, a collapsed lung and severe damage to my right leg. That they are still unsure the extent of the damage it has caused to it. Now I’m navigating being a mom, barely able to hold my baby, technically not even supposed to carry her. And be a wife when just getting up and getting myself dressed takes every bit of strength I have. So household chores and dinners everything I devoted myself to be being a wife and a mother was stripped from me. Everyday is a struggle. My husband has stepped up to do both roles as best as he could but you know how that can be. I feel lonely, lost, useless and a burden. But at that same time I’m so blessed to be here to feel these things just because of this little girl I thought I had to say goodbye to forever.

Breastfeeding at 4yo

So, i am not one to judge but i was put in a position where i couldn’t explain properly something to my toddler.
To put you in the picture, i take my daughter to this baby class since she was a couple weeks, now she is 4 and we are still going until she start school in September. The thing is there’s this boy in class with us who is the same age as her but who was still breastfeed in front of us. I never actually cared, it was their business, she can breastfeed him until he is 18 if she wants 🤷🏻‍♀️
But my daughter started asking questions about it, why is he still having milk like a baby, or is it normal to drink mummy’s milk and if she can have some…i didn’t know how to phrase my answer as first of all i was worried she would ask or point out he was a baby in front of them, and i also don’t want her to think it is very common to keep breastfeeding even when you are going to “big school”
How would you handled this situation? xx

Is it common for small kids to wake up before their parents?

Around 9 am my son woke up before i did. I was still half asleep. Then his grandpa came out and gave him a snack. Im a single mom who takes care of my child alone and im always exhausted. My son is almost 3 years old. Then during one of my sons doctor appointments his grandpa tried calling me out and said "(my name) didn't waks up this morning." I did wake up though. Just not right away.

The idea of letting my baby (6 months old, now) cry-it-out is keeping me up, tonight. Every doctor’s appointment, the doctors suggest that method and make me feel like I’m not doing a good enough job with my baby because he wakes up every 4-5 hours (rarely 3 hours) in the night. Really he wakes up just one time in the night, technically. Thinking about him getting red-faced, tears and snot streaming, him screaming- not understanding what’s going on, until he’s too stressed makes me sick to my stomach. But apparently I’m doing him and me an injustice by not sleep training? I just don’t know what to do.
