Grandma’s Weird Comments

My mum keeps making jarring comments about and to my baby boy, 8months old. He’s a big baby and she’ll be telling him he needs to go in his bouncer more because he has big legs, or if he cries it’s because he can’t move because he’s heavy… (he’s big and tall and rolls around and plays all day) Reaching the end of my patience as just today she was sitting on the floor with him and he was standing holding onto her top and she said to me “look your son is looking down my top, what do you see in there?” YUCK! She’s always making jarring/gross/offensive comments all the time. I had already said I won’t be having it when my baby is talking and understanding. 😫😫 Can’t stand it anymore!

Breastfeeding

I have a wedding this weekend and I’m currently exclusively breast feeding. Unfortunately kids aren’t allowed to the wedding so I’m trying to think of what’s best for my little boy. To pump or to offer formula and breast milk. He can be a little reluctant at times with bottles but will take it.
Any suggestions? 🙏
I’m also worried about what this could do to my supply

Fashion babes help me in the comments 😭

I’m buying a bag for holiday, I’ve decided to splurge on just one and then maybe buy another 2 cheap ones as back up.

Problem is I’m indecisive 🫠 I’ve managed to narrow it down from 13 to 4 bags but I still can’t choose

Weaning nightmare

Anyone else hating weaning? Every time I try to put my girl in her high chair, or put a bib a or jacket on she screams until she's red and shaking.
By that point it pretty awful so we tend to abandon, we have barely given our 7.5 month old anything because of this.
Any tips or advice?
I've tried different chairs, no bib different times of day. Just exhausted and getting sad seeing all the other babies sat eating food in group chats

First Time Mom with a late talker

Hello fellow mama's, I could really use some advise and support for my LO. He's 18 months next week and still not really talking. Lot's of baby talk, say "mamama and dadada" and other sounds sounds but nothing with like specific intention. He's said hi a couple times but it's difficult to get him to repeat it. He's where he's supposed to be developmentally in pretty much every other way and when you talk to him and ask him to say things it looks like he's thinking so hard but just can't connect the dots. He has his 18 month check next week so we're going to bring it up, hopefully we can get a referral. But was just wanting to kind of hear other mom's stories if your little ones had similar experiences. It's so difficult not to feel like a failed parent in situations like this.

SUMMER

LADIES. what are we doing about the summer sun!? My sons bed time is 8pm. He usually sleeps all through the night and goes down without a problem. However the glaring light through his window says NO. How on earth can i put him to bed when the suns still out like its mid day!?

I have questioned buying black out curtains, but surely when the heatwave truely kicks in thats going to turn his room into even more of an oven since our windows face the sunrise.

Also speaking of heat. How are we gonna tackle the heat wave in little ones rooms? Hes just turned 2 and i cant put a plug in fan or buy an ac unit and put it in there because that would be a major danger hazard. So what? Do i buy a ceiling fan? Is that even gonna do anything?

Im genuinely stumped mate.
