I have a wedding this weekend and I’m currently exclusively breast feeding. Unfortunately kids aren’t allowed to the wedding so I’m trying to think of what’s best for my little boy. To pump or to offer formula and breast milk. He can be a little reluctant at times with bottles but will take it.
Any suggestions? 🙏
I’m also worried about what this could do to my supply

I suggest pumping what you can before then and adding fomula to it if not enough. You may want to try your little one with a little fomula to see if they dont mind it.
Bring pump with u to the wedding and pump as normal. If you are planning on drinks save milk for baths.
Make sure u have lots of pictures to look through as u pump as it will help trick your body into producing milk.
I personally wouldn't worry to much about supply unless your in the first 2 months postpartum. But even then its one day. As long as you are pumping it should be fine. Dont stress 🙂

Are you invited to the whole event? Id pump personally especially before to have their milk.
It may be a pain in the mass to do. But if its near somewhere with a hotel really really really close. You could ask who ever is looking after them to stay there and you pop out when required to feed. This is probably not a situation thats viable but if it is its an option

Please be careful and pump as you wouldn’t want get a blocked duck or mastitis if you are still early days xoxo
