Hospital visits

Are you planning to have visitors at the hospital?

I’m having a planned c-section so I know I’ll be in for at least one night. I only want my mum visiting outwith my partner and my toddler.

I think my partner is a bit upset his mum hasn’t been mentioned but she’s not involved with our toddler at all and makes no effort. So I don’t see why I should rush to introduce her to our new child 🤷🏻‍♀️

Elective C Section

Hi ladies 👋🏻 I'm planning an Elective c section in August on my first. I'm wondering when does this usually get booked in? My parents live in Ireland and want to come over when baby is born to help. So it would be good to have an idea of when it will be!

Mucus plug

Does a mucus plug come with no blood? When I wiped there was a very thick clear substance but no blood. Could that be my mucus plug?? I’m abt to be 41 weeks.

Baby names

I need help with unique kinda vintage vibe but open to anything really. I have 2 kids charlotte (Charlie) 3 and Oliver 1. I want to stay away from the basic names but not too crazy. Since this is my 3rd and last pregnancy i wanted I different experience and wait for the gender till birth so I need both gender name ideas

Also would like to incorporate my kiddos or at least my oldest picking the name from a selected few if anyone has any fun ideas on that Id appreciate !

Hardest stage so far

Hi everyone FTM here. I’m feeling very overwhelmed with my LG now being able to crawl. She wants to move and stand and walk but gets frustrated with herself. Seems like she’s cried all day every day for the past week. She’s refusing naps, not really hungry and doesn’t really want to “play”. I am really struggling and feeling like I don’t know what I’m doing all over again.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can find a new routine or get used to this? Maybe some daily activities you do with your babies to occupy them? I feel like I’m fighting for my life until bedtime and it’s making me really sad.

Small birthday party

Would you be upset if family / close friends didn’t come to your little ones first birthday party? Just a small get together at home & in the garden having food and celebrating their first year of life?
