Natural birth or c section, which did you prefer?

Ladies who have had both a natural delivery and a c section, which did you prefer in the long run? I’ve had a c section and was told I could never deliver naturally, but after a scan last week they now have said that I potentially can deliver naturally if I choose to. I know the section left me crippled for months so I’d love to give natural a shot but it seems terrifying! Let me know your thoughts x

I never got to the pushing stage before my labour turned into an emergency c section. But I honestly found labour not that bad. You can take all the good drugs and then all youll feel is pressure (i ended up on maternity side of tiktik when pregnant. That was interesting)

Recovery after a vaginal does usually mean a much quicker recovery. Sure youll be sore but unless there is complications you dont get the long heal time

Natural labour all day long.

My c-section recovery has been smooth sailing I was up and out by day 3 in very little pain but I didn’t enjoy the experience whatsoever.

It’s also very tough having an older child and not being able to pick them up.. it made the sibling jealousy/ transition very difficult x

Natural, I healed within a week and a half with my two children plus being present and in tune with your body is such a cool experience.
Yes it hurts but it passes very quick

Mucus plug

Does a mucus plug come with no blood? When I wiped there was a very thick clear substance but no blood. Could that be my mucus plug?? I’m abt to be 41 weeks.

Elective C Section

Hi ladies 👋🏻 I'm planning an Elective c section in August on my first. I'm wondering when does this usually get booked in? My parents live in Ireland and want to come over when baby is born to help. So it would be good to have an idea of when it will be!

Baby names

I need help with unique kinda vintage vibe but open to anything really. I have 2 kids charlotte (Charlie) 3 and Oliver 1. I want to stay away from the basic names but not too crazy. Since this is my 3rd and last pregnancy i wanted I different experience and wait for the gender till birth so I need both gender name ideas

Also would like to incorporate my kiddos or at least my oldest picking the name from a selected few if anyone has any fun ideas on that Id appreciate !

Hardest stage so far

Hi everyone FTM here. I’m feeling very overwhelmed with my LG now being able to crawl. She wants to move and stand and walk but gets frustrated with herself. Seems like she’s cried all day every day for the past week. She’s refusing naps, not really hungry and doesn’t really want to “play”. I am really struggling and feeling like I don’t know what I’m doing all over again.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can find a new routine or get used to this? Maybe some daily activities you do with your babies to occupy them? I feel like I’m fighting for my life until bedtime and it’s making me really sad.
