Baby question

Hi guys my baby girl is only three weeks old and she’s doing great for the most part the last two days she’s been really fussy and is having a hard time passing gas. She’s not sleeping as much either . And seems to be comfort feeding I think. I don’t know what to do. I’m breast feeding so it’s hard I’ll feed her and she’ll wake up like 20 minutes later and I’ll feed her again . But I feel like im not providing enough milk because there’s hardly anytime in between feeds . I’ve tired rubbing her belly doing bike legs and changing her position. What helped you help them most

Is she more uncomfortable after feeding? It could be colic.
the comfort feeding sounds like cluster feeding which is very normal for a 3 week old but understandably very tiring for you😩my honest advice would be to try and pump in between feeds to increase your supply and use when you need the break.

My daughter was very colicky and uncomfortable after feeding and I found keeping her upright for 10-15 minutes after feeding helped, and moving her back and forth to get all the burps up 🙂

You can grab some infacol to relive the gas pain she might be having but I'd have a chat with your doctor first just to make sure it's okay ☺️

Bath too hot?

I feel horrible, my baby is 4 months old and she usually likes her baths. And I’m usually good at reading the temperature before I put her in, but this time I feel like I wasn’t. She was ok initially but then all of a sudden as I was cleaning her hair she because fussy and her face changed. Then she because upset and wanted to move out of her bath seat. So I quickly picked her up as the crying got worse and her skin was hot. I then laid her on her mat to soothe her and let her cool down. She is ok now and back to her smiley self but I feel horrible knowing I put her in and it was too hot for her!!! ☹️☹️☹️

Little one cries when my husband holds him

Our son is just over 5 weeks old, and for the past 2–3 weeks he cries almost every time my husband holds him. The only position he seems comfortable in is the “football” hold, but he won’t nap that way.

It’s becoming really stressful for both of us. I feel like I can’t properly nap, get ready, or let my husband settle him during the night without him crying, and I know it’s upsetting for my husband too. What makes it harder is that our son is happy and naps being held by other family members.

Is this something other parents have experienced, and does anyone have any advice or solutions that helped?

Nappy size

What size nappies are your little people in now? I feel like we’re close to moving up to size 4 but I’m sure our first wasn’t in size 4 until much later 😅😅

Husband wants us to switch from breast to formula

My husband thinks that my breast milk isn’t good for the baby and that he’s wanting to eat too much and our first son drank formula. And he was such a good quiet barely cried baby. And this one had some bad baby acne it’s not that bad now but he’s still not even q month and I told him that happens but he brings up how our first had nice smooth skin. But I don’t think it has anything to do with the milk maybe more like each baby is different ? And he keeps referring to my milk as “poison” and it’s making me think it might be that? Any opinions on someone who did both ? And noticed any behavior changes ?

Travelling and bottle feeding

Hello mums!

We're going on our first holiday abroad with our baby in a few weeks and I'm struggling to work out how to pack everything we need for bottle feeding (bottles, pump, sterilising stuff) without it taking up loads of space!

Open to any tips and tricks, thanks so much!
