Sleep regression

Anyone else still in this 4 month sleep regression despite baby being 5 months now? Little one is still waking every hour after midnight and wants to start his day at 5am. It’s been going on for 6 weeks now and I’m exhausted 😭 is sleep training the only solution to come out of this?

Ugh it’s horrible! It ended for us after 6 weeks if that gives any hope. I don’t know if it was a coincidence but I started using the app Napper the week it ended and it really helped her day time naps and helping me to know the best time to put her down for the night. Literally the first day I used it, she only woke twice that night and now she’s down to 1 wakes 1 week later. Definitely worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet!

Yep still in it, and we're 6 months now 😂 I'm starting to think there are no regressions, it's just one long exercise in sleep deprivation x

Weaning- the clean up!

I’m just about to start the weaning journey with my second and wondering what’s the best approach for the clean up!

What are you using to clean up the baby? What about the floor and high chair? Just regular changing wipes or specific flannels?

How are you cleaning down bibs? Do you reuse them before putting through the washing machine? Where are you keeping them/storing them when they are dirty and wet before being put in the washing machine?

I know I’m overthinking this but want to avoid smelly bibs and flannels lingering between washes.
Any tips for your laundry systems gratefully appreciated. 😅

Gosh I’m so boring- this is what I think of now haha

sleep/crib training 😭😭

okay wtf.. sleep training is so much harder emotionally than i ever thought. for the first 4 months of my sons life he slept in his bassinet strictly with contact naps here and there of course. at some point we switched to cosleeping because it was just easier at the time with me going back to work. please no judgement on that, i never thought i would cosleep and always looked down on it but it kept me sane when i was back working 40+ hours a week. i recently quit my job because the schedule was too inconsistent for me having a 9 month old now so we’re trying to sleep train and get him back in his crib. it is SO hard. i feel so guilty. i am not in any way doing the cry it out method or any form of that. i comfort him when he cries and i am currently sitting next to the crib after an hour and a half of trying to get him to fall asleep and he finally JUST went to sleep. i just feel so bad he was getting so worked up and crying like he has never cried before. i am really hoping it gets easier and it wont be weeks of this because i am on the verge of tears with guilt. 💔💔 my mama heart is breaking. if anyone has any suggestions or tips on sleep training that are NOT cry it out methods please let me know i could use all the tips i can get.

Crawling on hardwood

We only have tile and hardwood in our apartment.

I did buy the foam mat squares from walmart. But they are so cheap, hard to clean, and take forever to set up.

What other ways can I provide my baby with a safe space to learn to crawl?
