I also only have one and work from home and totally feel you. On top of that we are ALWAYS sick so right when it feels like I am able to catch up it all goes to crap again

Its only a short time but it’s only temporary, they will only be this small for a short time. They won’t always need us this much. Spend your time wisely. Sometimes the cleaning isn’t as important as them.

Just a mum, bawling her eyes out in Disneyland that her baby grew up 😭

My girl turned 4 this week and we surprised her with Disney and she met Elsa and Anna.

Immediately, I was in tears blubbing like a baby! When did she get so grown up? When did she get so tall? I watched her have little secret conversations with the princesses and I couldn’t stop the chin wobbling.

How did our babies get so big? I swear I just blinked and she went from baby to preschooler 🥹

Anyone else still super emotional these days over the kids?

My ADHD brain couldn't remember the name for snails

So I called them gastropods, which is technically correct. This happened one time now my son (3yo) only calls them astropods.

Anterior placenta, previous c section

I’m 15 weeks and have an anterior placenta. I’ve been told that monitoring of my placenta won’t really start until my 20 week scan. So I don’t know yet if it is close to my scar. But am already quite worried. My previous c section was also emergency, not sure if that also increases my chances of risks. Does anyone have any experience of having an anterior placenta and previous c section, and it being okay? TIA x

Is anyone else wildly shocked at how many pregnancies are being sent for growth scans/ inductions/ even sections based on an archaic measuring system 😵‍💫

The fundal measurement is massively outdated and nuanced. And scans can’t accurately predict weights either. Yet we’re sending women spiralling down anxiety ridden rabbit holes and unnecessarily inducing them or even resorting to surgery! My mind in blown!
Luckily all the midwives I’ve seen are very pragmatic.

4D scans and anterior placentas

Hey everyone!! I’m 27 weeks and really wanting a 4D scan!
But.. I have an anterior placenta and the last 2 scans I’ve had this cheeky boy has been on his belly and not playing ball and we rarely get to see his face etc.

Do you think it’s likely I’d have a successful 4D scan or would I be wasting my money?!

I’m 39 weeks and feels like babies movements are ‘softer’ I can feel him move but it’s not as quick and firm as previously maybe because he is bigger and has less space ! Anyone else ?
