Movements

I’m 39 weeks and feels like babies movements are ‘softer’ I can feel him move but it’s not as quick and firm as previously maybe because he is bigger and has less space ! Anyone else ?

I’m 37 weeks and my movements are no where near as intense now. I mentioned it during my appointment on Tuesday and the doctor mentioned it’s normal for this stage as there isn’t as much space for baby.
As always though, if you’re unsure about movements, check in with your hospital

I went in on Monday for this exact reason. Was put on the monitor for 40 ish minutes and they deemed his heart rate fine so was discharged.
They didn't explain why unfortunately. I guess just one of those things, but hopefully it reassures you that everything was all good for us with the same experience.

C-section Scar

I am almost 6 weeks postpartum and my c-section is starting to hurt again. There no redness or anything, just pain. Is that normal? My OB said it was healing nicely and that he wasn’t concerned at my two week appointment.

Uk mums!

Daughter is having general anesthetic for a 10 min procedure. Do I need to pack some pajamas, night nappy and my own snacks for it? I forgot to ask the nurse? Also do they allow hair to be up for the procedure, my girl has crazy hair 😂

Basically any recommendations!

10 days post c section. I have the worst constipation ever since the operation. And constant urge down there to go which is quite painful.

C section pain

Tips for pain management? I’m 6 days post section and having paracetamol and ibuprofen every 4 hours but I’m still sore and only really managing to walk to the toilet and back. They took the stitches out yesterday and it was checked and they’ve said it looks fine.

We were inpatients for quite 4 days as it was an emergency section and baby was in NICU being monitored and having IV antibiotics so have only been home 2 days.
Sorry to add I can’t have codeine/dihydrocodeine due to an allergy!
