The fundal measurement is massively outdated and nuanced. And scans can’t accurately predict weights either. Yet we’re sending women spiralling down anxiety ridden rabbit holes and unnecessarily inducing them or even resorting to surgery! My mind in blown!

I don't think it really surprises me considering the lack of scientific research on women. We still use BMI so although I agree with you that it shouldn't be the case, I can't say I'm hugely surprised by it.

that is all ive heard a few people i know are being induced and im like okay but me being me I had to ask why because ive GD diabetes and they dont everything is fine with them I thought they were being induced because there past there due date but every single one of them said there being induced a few days to a week earlier and im sitting here with what they call a big baby with GD diabetes which is controlled threw my diet and im glad its going well and being told that I could be looking at going full term maybe a week over but then there was me 7 years ago my son was born 6.5 and I was told just shy over a week before my due date he is better out than in so got induced and he came 10 days early...im just so confused with this all I just hope my son makes his own way into the world before anything
