Alarms for feeding

My little one is 7 weeks old now and I’m just wondering if others are still setting alarms for wake ups and feeds or just following their LOs lead? My LO has gained weight well just feel nervous to let him sleep and not have a feeding schedule of any sort?

Our little one feeds every 2-3 hours during the day, he has one around 10/11pm and sleeps till 6. We don’t wake him and he’s doing fine! X

I only woke my little girl for feeds for the first 14 days (although she woke fairly regularly anyway) then when I knew she'd gotten back up to her birth weight I just followed her lead.

She's now 10 weeks and been gaining weight perfectly, and that's with at night she can go anywhere from 4-7 hours without waking.

Is it weird that my husband comments on how big our boys willy is going to be?

Most times when he's changing our boy's nappy he says his willy will be big like his. I'm like wth he's a child why are you even concerned about that?! I find it weird as fuck! Ironically my husband thinks he has a big willy when his is just average. I have seen big Willy's and it certainly ain't his!!!

People keep saying my baby is too attached...

How do you deal with this? Both friends and family keep saying it. My mother is the worst; we've not always had a good relationship. She (in the 90s) used the 'cry it out' method, admits she locked my brother in his room when he kept getting out his cot (thinks it's funny), would put me in front of a tv to go for a cigarette (leaving me alone), and used fear as a form of parenting my entire life.

I am the exact opposite. Because of this, I believe we (my baby and I) have a strong healthy bond but she believes I spoil her and she cries to manipulate me... My baby doesn't do well with being held by most people (other than me and my husband) but I don't think this is an issue.

I guess this is mostly just to rant but am I right? Do my baby and I just have a healthy bond? Is it even possible for an 8 month old to be too attached to their mother?

Excessive daytime sleeping at 5 months old

Hello! I am wanting some advice as I’be had conflicting information! My baby is 5 months old and if I let him, held sleep for 3 or more hours during the day, but at night he sleeps max 2 hours before waking up. He’s breastfed but was bottled fed for the first 8 weeks, he simply will not take the boob unless he’s starving, if that helps at all. He is fed throughout the night when he wakes, which is fine because he was originally on the 0.4th centile and is now up to the 2nd. I want him to have as much milk as possible. My question is, should I be waking him up during the day? The health visitor says yes but the GP says no! What do I do?

Does anyone else's toddler have their own way of saying things? This is how he says "I love you"

Our son has made up his own way of saying "I love you" I know a few will say he should learn the proper way, but to me it's the sweetest thing ever ❤️

Mourning pregnancy

I’m really really struggling at the moment. I massively miss my pregnancy. I’m grieving so much over it. I reached out 3 weeks pp and I didn’t get much. I’m now 8 weeks pp and I’m still mourning over it. It’s making me very depressed, I can’t look at pregnant women anymore whether it’s online or in person. I feel like a part of me is missing although he’s right in front of me. I wouldn’t change anything for the world and I love my baby very very much. I don’t know what’s wrong with me or how to change my perspective. I know I’ll relive pregnancy again as I want another baby but that’s 2-3 years from now. I don’t know if this is partly postpartum depression or what all I know is that being pregnant was one of the best months of my life .

My twins don't speak (turning 6 in July) which do you think is the benefit I enjoy most?

This is how I cope. Don't get mad at me.
