Diaper leaks overnight

My 7 month old (14-15lbs) wears size one diapers (pampers swaddlers) during the days, and we've had no issues with daytime leaks or blowouts at this size. We notice overnight she would have leaks from the from top of her diaper for several nights in a row (she sleeps on her stomach). We moved her up to a size 2 at night and that solved the problem for a few weeks, but then it started happening again, several nights in a row. We moved her up to a size 3 at night, and now she's leaking again. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Should we try a different brand that absorbs better overnight? Or that might fit her better around her waist? Any suggestions are appreciated!

I would do an overnight diaper in the same size she wears in the day to try.

Sleeping on her stomach though could be part of the problem

Try different brands if you haven’t already sometimes other brands absorb better

Had the same issue at some point, switched to Huggies overnight diapers and it’s been a good one!

Sounds like your baby needs to size up during the day and night. Try honest overnights one size larger than the daytime size

Yes, please get a bigger size. My baby is 5 months he’s a size 2 because we’re not gonna do all that.

My 7 month old is the same size and we use Huggies. We found out very early on that we didn’t like the pampers for her. They were too stiff to fit how little she was so they weren’t fitting properly and this contributed to a blow out our two. We just out her into a size 3 since we were out of 2s and she’s at the top weight wise for the 2s anyway. She wears these same diapers day and night but I have to say I was unaware they made day and night diapers.

I know some ppl don’t like the rascals diapers but I use them on my daughter no leaks and holds up to 12hrs..my daughter 7 months and weigh 20Ibs 13oz

Every time my baby leaked or had a blowout I’d go up a size in diapers. So right now my (almost) 7 month old is in a size 5 and I haven’t had any issues. (She’s in the 96th percentile) lol

We used to have diaper leaks overnight with my daughter constantly. She wore regular Huggies or Pampers at that time. We started buying Millie Moon nighttime diapers, and the leaks stopped. She's 2 bow and this still works. My son now is 7 months and has been wearing regular Millie Moon diapers to bed, and we haven't had any issues with this brand leaking. We haven't needed to put him in nighttime diapers yet, but I will if he starts leaking.

I really like the freestyle brand. Haven't had any blowouts yet. My son is 17-18 pounds and he wears size 3

My 7 month old is almost 17 lbs, but we’ve been in size 3 Huggies for daytime since 14lbs and size 3 Rascals for overnight - no leaks or blowouts

I tickled someone’s baby 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ok so in the line to pick up my child from school I was talking to another Mum who was holding her baby, probably about 8-9 months old and she was smiling at me so I just out of habit gave her a little tickle on her tummy without even thinking. Afterwards I remembered that this Mum is very particular about people touching her baby and I’ve heard her telling her son not to touch until he’d washed his hands. I’ve noticed she’s been a bit different with me since and not as friendly. Should I address it with her or just let it go?

family members kissing baby

We’ve just had my partners auntie and uncle visit, we had no idea prior to the visit that his uncle is just getting over PNEUMONIA. He didn’t hold the baby, but he gave him a kiss on the head. They’re still downstairs now, i’ve washed his head with lukewarm water and decontamination lotion. He’s 9 days old. How much of a risk is there? I am beside myself crying, i wish they’d told us i wouldn’t have let them come over. We’re both in really good health and he’s breastfed.

Sleeping without my baby as a mom who’s always co slept since the very beginning

Hi! So I’m a teen mom and hadn’t been able to afford a crib or a toddler bed for my son for a long time, I just co slept because it eased my mind and I loved the snuggles. We’ve been growing up together and he’s like my little bestie. My son has also been sleeping through the night since he was about 6 months old and I’ve found he wakes up less with me. I have a co parenting schedule with my baby daddy and I find it really hard to sleep without my 15 month old. Is this just me? Am I holding on too tight? I know i shouldn’t always go to my son for comfort because I don’t want him to think he needs to take care of me at a young age that’s not what this is but am I crazy?
