Direct breastfeeding and outdoors

Hi!
I’m 20 days postpartum and a c section. I feel I would like to go out and about as it is summer.

How do you tackle traveling with newborn and feeding when you are direct breastfeeding? I have never expressed milk or used a pump or used a bottle. Have you been to beaches with a 1 month old? Is it advicable?

I just breastfeed as I would at home much less faff. Beach is fine as long as they’re in the shade x

I’ve breastfed where ever whenever. For a beach I would recommend getting a decent pop up beach tent for shade. And even for a bit of privacy if needed. You can get coverups for feeding if your worried about it all being seen but honestly if your already breastfeeding I’m sure you already have the knack to “wack it out” subtly.

I breastfeed whilst our and use a muslin cloth to cover myself if I feel I want a bit more privacy dpending on where I am and how confident I feel at the time but it's completely natural and babies need to eat too 😊 as the others said if going somewhere in the sun make sure you have adequate shade to protect baby

Is it normal for an almost 11 week old baby to soak through nappy, bodysuit and sleepsuit several times a day?

Has anyone used one of these?

A coworker suggested one of these for our flight this weekend to Canada. Was wondering if anyone used one and if it was useful or not. Do airlines allow anything like this??

Struggling

My 6 week old baby constantly wants to feed during the day. She’s ebf so I’m doubting if she’s getting enough because every time I put her down she wakes up crying for me 😬 my other 2 children weren’t like this. I’m finding I can’t even go to the loo without her waking up screaming for me. Should I just leave her to cry it out?? Any tips?

Baby scratching face

My 3 month old keeps scratching her face. I keep her nails as short as I can. I trim them with nail clippers daily and file them down with a glass file so there aren’t sharp corners but she keeps managing to scratch herself still. I’ve tried putting scratch mittens on and using the sleep suits with the bits that fold over her hands but she hates them and will scream until I take them off. Does anyone know of anything that will help me get her nails shorter safely or something to cover her hands which might be more comfortable that she won’t hate?
