Weight loss

I am almost 8 weeks postpartum from emergency c-section. I still have the “pouch” above my scar. I am walking at least an hour every day and eating healthy. Any tips to lose the pouch? I still have pain and can’t be physically active as I used to be..

My partner put together a website with some fitness plans designed for me following an emergency cesarean. It has three phases from gentle recovery to home training and each phase has three stages so you can ease your way up to the next level. The home training also incorporates exercises that can be safely done with a baby so also useful for dads or anyone really. He made it into a website so that other mums and people could benefit from it too. Would you like me to share the link? It's free and he has added things like the ability to add other people and encourage each other to do your exercises, gain achievements for exercise streaks etc to help with motivation, and you can change which exercise plan you are on at any time so you can increase or decrease the exercise frequency and intensity as needed to really support your recovery and fitness building in alignment with where you are at any time

It has nothing to do with how much exercise you do or don’t do. The ‘pouch’ is caused by everything being tight. Scar massage is a great tool to loosen the tissue! YouTube and Pelvic Floor Therapists are great tools to figure out how to do it and teach safe movements to reduce the pouch. I’m 19 months post unplanned csection and have been routinely doing scar massages / proper movements since 6 weeks post and have virtually no pouch.

Baby Boy is 2 months!

Oml! It’s already been 2 months since this angel was brought into my life! I love seeing his beautiful smile 🥰 He’s getting so big so fast. He’s finally gaining weight and not having too much reflux! I felt so bad when he had to get his shots yesterday! 🥺 Happy 2 months to my little hungry caterpillar! Mommy loves you so much 💙🥳🎉🥹

Contractions

Hi! I’m 37w5d. I started having terrible pressure in my perineum, pelvic pain, and back pain. I'm also having painful contractions—but my water hasn't broken. I'm using an app to monitor my contractions, and it says "Get ready." I have 5-10 minutes to get to the hospital, first time mom.
Is it time to call the hospital or stay home?🙈 I’m very stressed and don’t know what to do.

Freaking out!!!

My baby’s head is messuring on the 97th centile and I have just read that it could be Macrocephaly 😰 or linked to later autism… And I wonder if I am even able to give birth to such size of head. I don’t know why my midwife has not Said anything about it.
