I’m 9 weeks pregnant and my son who is 2 was sitting next to me as I was laying on my side and he stood up by putting pressure not kick but kinda like a step/ push off on my left side of my belly and now I’m so worried what if baby isn’t okay and what if the baby is gone. I went through a miscarriage in January of this year and since then I’m just already so worried of another one. I tell my 2 year old be careful with baby and he has kicked my belly before and everything was fine but still I get so worried especially because that side does feel sore especially in the pelvic but please someone help with my stress.

If pushing on your belly id say probably fine. At 9 weeks your uterus is still in your pelvis, behind your pubic bone. But if it will put your mind at ease, always best to see your obgyn.

I think you'll probably be fine Hun. As previous commenter stated, your uterus is still in your pelvis at this stage, and baby is well protected. I have done some research into this as I'm also 9 weeks pregnant with a very active 14 month old daughter who enjoys standing on my belly and diving on to me. I read that even as pregnancy progresses, baby is so well protected by the amniotic fluid that only major injuries to the abdominal region (like from a car accident) will have a negative impact on the pregnancy and the health of the baby so whilst they say you should discourage toddlers from being boisterous around your belly, the likelihood is that they won't cause harm to the unborn baby xx
