To cycle or not to cycle

I have been cycling to work for about 2 years now. The road is quite bumpy but I try and use the quieter roads to avoid any accident. Cycling in London is a bit crazy!

I am now 5 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to continue cycling? Without cycling, getting to work would be trickier and more stressful.

I would say it’s not necessarily more dangerous than before. Maybe you can plan a few minutes extra so you don’t have to rush, obviously wear a helmet etc and if you don’t feel safe over time or uncomfortable then you can still figure out another way to go to work :) I would continue (I live in a small town though, where traffic is less than in London) for now!

I would keep cycling until it feels uncomfortable

If you love cycling and feel able to, keep doing it.

I commuted on the underground till week 38 and it’s hell on there and people dgaf about a TfL badge. If I could have cycled to work I would have to enjoy the personal space, “fresh air” and the exercise.

Someone women can loose there balance due to hormones changing there vestibular system and due to belly. Me personally I stopped as in Melbourne its busy busy and hectic roads for me it wasn't worth the risk.

I so bad want another baby!!! My daughter is only 3 months old but I am ready. I do want to wait so I truly can enjoy her. My husband and I have been talking about it but we agreed on waiting until my daughter is almost 2. I am already so excited.

2 under 2

for the ones with two under two, that are in their early 20’s, how are you guys managing ? how did you guys pop out pregnant? did you post your pregnancy? I’m currently 6 weeks and a few days pregnant, and I want to protect my peace, so, I will be keeping this pregnancy to myself, but, I just wanted to know how you guys did it, for reference, i’m 21 with a 9 month old.

Is my baby okay?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and my son who is 2 was sitting next to me as I was laying on my side and he stood up by putting pressure not kick but kinda like a step/ push off on my left side of my belly and now I’m so worried what if baby isn’t okay and what if the baby is gone. I went through a miscarriage in January of this year and since then I’m just already so worried of another one. I tell my 2 year old be careful with baby and he has kicked my belly before and everything was fine but still I get so worried especially because that side does feel sore especially in the pelvic but please someone help with my stress.
