Not walking

Does/did anyone else’s 17 month old not walk yet? He’s recently seen his health visitor due to us moving area, she didn’t seem too concerned about it but I’m quite worried and always compare to other toddlers his age🙈 he was 3 weeks early which isn’t a lot but he was a late crawler too and seems to do things in his own time. I’ve bought him a soft play which he now sometimes will go on his feet to lift himself up onto it, if we’re sat on the floor he will bend his legs to push himself up over us so there is a small improvement.. he has stood at the sofa twice with us helping him up and only for a short time. He just doesn’t seem bothered but he’s a good fast crawler

(The socks on the photo was because we was going out! I try and have him bare foot as much as possible)

Mine is 17 months and also not walking or standing independently. He's making small progress towards it. Hard not to worry though.

Baby monitors

My son will be turning 4 next month and I have no idea when to stop using the monitor in his room, just wondering when everyone else stopped using them? I like the fact when I wake up I can check to make sure he’s all good without getting out of bed but I know there will be a time when I’ll obviously have to stop 🤣 so what age did you stop?

Chilled. Baby

This isn’t a brag… but my baby is 5 months and rarely cries rarely gets upset can go to restaurants and have her with her and she’s so calm at night she doesn’t cry when waking either she’s chilled when I put her in her cot everytime just likes to play or roll about ….I’ve heard that these baby’s may have traits of Autism tho if they’re a really chilled baby…I don’t usually believe it but it’s got me really questioning now I know she’s only 5 months can’t think about it right now but I’ve never heard her truly cry…… and I just think it’s not normal baby behaviour is it…. Anyways just wondering if anyone else has a chilled baby…….. please don’t hate it’s just a speculation I don’t actually believe it’s true

Struggling 🥹

In struggling with what feels like everything at the moment. I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my first baby after 3 miscarriages previously so I’m elated to finally have made it to my second trimester but I just feel like I’m failing. I’m constantly nauseous and so I can’t face eating, when I eat I’m sick 8/10, I’m struggling to drink enough water and hit my protein and just nutrition is out of the window completely.
I’ve received my bloods back from my dating scan and my PAPP-A is low and I just don’t know what I can do to fix it or make it better I just feel like I’ve already failed and my poor baby is suffering because I’m just not looking after myself 😭
Just feeling really down at the moment and wondering when I’ll ever enjoy this pregnancy I have prayed for for so long. I don’t have any friends and especially mam friends to turn to and just feeling a little lost with it all. Please tell me I’m not the only one and it will get better 🥹♥️

Exclusive breastfeeding…

What keeps you going??

I’m really not enjoying it as much as I did last time. I know it’s best & has tons of benefits but I’m sooooo tired, she’s sicky after every feed and pooing every time I feed her. Which means almost every outfit needs washing as it’s either got sick on or poo on 🙈

It just feels so much … as well as trying to carve out time with my son during the day.. last night she fed every 1.5 hours 😴😴

Hand expressing

Hi, can anyone tell me any tips or tricks for hand expressing?
I tried the other day but didn’t know if I was doing it right. I’m 37 weeks but also know that it’s possible to not get any and it doesn’t mean your milk won’t be there when baby arrives. I just wanted to hear any advice on people that maybe managed to do it as a first time mum??
I did it for a little bit the other day and managed to just get a bit of glazing over my nipple. I want to try doing it again.
Any help would be appreciated

🗓️ Any advice would be great 🫶🏼

Hey mamas 😊

I’m a first time mama to a beautiful baby girl (3months tomoro) and was hoping to get some insight.
My baby girl sleeps amazing but only on me, my chest and I’ve tried laying her down on her back but she wakes instantly every time. So at night it’s very challenging, even throughout the day all her naps are on me as she wakes if I put her down. My baby girl doesn’t like a swaddle, she escapes and her arms just fight it lol
