Hot days

Hi there, just wanted to ask if is safe to sleep with the window open when is so hot outside? I have a 8 week old baby and i m thinking that might be dangerous for her but in the same time is extremely hot in the room. Thank you ☺️

As long as no breeze is directly hitting her I don’t see why not, we’ve done it and had a fan on aswell, just pointing into the room making sure it’s not hitting her but to circulate air x

i think it could be okay but probably just put a net around her like cot or next to me just because of bugs and flies

I’ve been sleeping with the windows wide open to circulate air, it’s too hot! She’s 9 weeks and has been fine xx

No harm in having window open at all- And needed currently! I’ve had the window open all year round with my son for the fresh air, just a crack in winter and wide open in summer ☺️

Yes! It's actually okay to have a fan aswell to circulate the air (just not directly pointing on lo)

Hey, I keep seeing questions about having windows open? I wasn't sure why it would be a problem...just in case they get cold ?

Wedding and breastfeeding?

I'm getting married tomorrow. I'm 3 months pp. I breastfeed my baby. I won't be able to do so tomorrow. I'll be taking pre pumped milk for him, but worried about myself. If I don't pump or feed for 8-10 hours, I'll get engorged. Is there any workaround?

Temp for bed time

Currently stressing as it’s 25 degrees in baby boys bedroom what’s the best thing to sleep him in? Also if anyone can recommend anything I can use to cool the room down it would be appreciated willing to buy anything.

Baby tracker app

What app are you guys using to track diapers and feedings? We were using huckleberry, but it’s starting to not keep the information correct or not saving it.

As a mom how late do you sleep in everyday? I am up by 6am every day but my sister and her toddler and older child don’t get up until 11am every day

I find her schedule to be a bit jarring and lacking structure but she thinks it’s fine. I’ve never met another mom with a young child sleep that late every single day but maybe I’m wrong for worrying which I’m open to hearing. I think I’d be less worried if she was more active but she is not. I’m not judging to be mean. I love her and am worried. I think it may be hormonal but I don’t want to hurt her feelings when I bring this up. Thank you

2nd pregnancy guilt.

So I have just found out I’m pregnant again. My boy will be 2 years and 8 months when new baby is due.

I was really excited to tell my very close family in a few days however, this evening one of them has made a few comments that have left me feeling so guilty and bad.
Basically they have a newborn and were saying how hard it must be to have a newborn and a toddler close in age, how the toddler would need to ‘grow up really quickly’ wouldn’t get any time with the parents at all because of the newborn and how they just don’t know how people could do it.

This has made me feel so guilty and bad! I was looking forward to sharing the news in a few days now I don’t even want to.
Am I overthinking and speaking from hormones?
Anyone else been through similar? Please comment. Thank you so much

WALKING MILK MACHINE

Oh the joys of not wearing a bra for a little while because you wanna free the nips but your body reminds you that you’re a walking milk machine so nursing bras and breast pads need to be worn at all times 🫪.

Had to take baby girl out of the wrap cause I was leaking all over her 🫠
