I miss having someone to simply do life with. Someone that would go on my weekly grocery shops with me. Someone that I could go sneak an ice cream cone with. Someone that I could vent to about things going on and they just got it. Someone that saw me. No matter what. Dr's appointments I didn't want to go to alone. The first person I call when I have some piping hot tea to spill. I haven't been without a bestie long, but damn do i miss it. The secret starbies runs, the costco trips, the sisterhood. I have a husband, I have sisters, but I dont have my best friend anymore.

Hey guys. So my son has currently started settling in with my eldest's childminder, we've just had a bill for £900ish which we knew was coming. When would my son get the funded hours? Is it next month or September? 😩

I couldn’t find my new lingerie-ish nightgown I bought for this weekend, after our anniversary stay. Seemed it never made it back in our bags. We always double check the room, we thought well enough. Well, Hubs decides to watch our videos made in the room back. He literally finds the exact moment I fling it behind the couch on video.

WELL THATS EMBARRASSING FOR HOUSEKEEPING TO FIND.

Even more so because I’m an elite member and they upgraded us, gave us a bottle of wine for the anniversary stay, etc. I’m mortified but have no one to also laugh with it about. So here I am 🫶🏻😂

So many profiles but minimal conversation

I see so many profiles of moms wanting to make friends but many don’t even reply back. I know it’s just the business of mom’s life and maybe I’m just too lonely rn lol

Intimacy time

I became a Christian shortly after I met my husband, and I know the Bible talks about how our bodies are not our own once we are married. But my husband wants intimacy every single night, and sometimes it becomes overwhelming for me. I feel like he uses religion against me because he will quote scripture or say things like, “You know I’m hurting, I need it,” and if I say no, he often becomes irritated or makes it into a big issue.

I’m struggling to understand what is healthy and biblical in marriage and on top of that I have severe anxiety and MDD (major depressive disorder.)Am I still allowed to say no to intimacy with my husband when I’m emotionally or physically overwhelmed, or does that mean I’m committing a sin? My husband is Christian he grew up Christian
