Babys movement

I am currently 27 weeks pregnant. My little one moves in the morning a little, the odd time during the day but mainly during the night. I thought she would move a little more.. Is this normal... They have said she is a little small tho..

They’re more active at night and when you’re sleeping. My daughter was like that too
She was more active during the night, especially midnight

But you can still check with your midwife

It’s totally normal because you’re moving around going about your day to day business baby tends to be asleep but tends to move around a lot at nighttime because you’re still. You’ll get to learn your babies pattern of movement and if you don’t feel movements my little one was the exact same 😊

If you don’t feel movements during when you would normally feel them don’t be afraid to contact your maternity assessment unit*😊

It can be normal and they sleep most of the day. With my first pregnancy, I very rarely felt baby girl move but that was my normal. She was a big baby too. My second baby was totally different.

I had similar movements with my little girl and she didn’t really have a pattern! I went over to triage to get checked for peace of mind! They never mind you going even if you go frequently! All the midwives would much rather you feel okay🩷 it can be normal, especially if you have an anterior placenta like I did! If they are concerned, they will speak to you about it! X

Yeah my little girl was exactly like this. If you're ever worried then go with your gut and get assessed but that does sound normal.

My daughter was not a mover unless I was getting an ultrasound or testing the. She would go crazy. Every now and then she would have some activity but was not as active as I wish she would have been. I spent a lot of time on the phone with my dr getting reassured it was normal.

Do I need to call?

I’m 27+6, and baby was SUPER quiet this morning. She’s now started moving normally again.

Do I still need to call in or can I just continue monitoring?

Party Bags

Where do we stand with party bags? 😫
My daughters second birthday is October and we don’t really know LOADS of kids, literally maybe a handful and majority are family, and we’re having a party for her like we did for her first but unsure wether to do party bags.

My nieces second birthday was over the weekend and they done party bags but it was all small things that I actually had to confiscate as choking hazards 😫

Do we do them this young? My other niece last year complained there was no party bags 🤣🤣

First appointment

Is it normal to not have the first appointment until like 8 weeks? Feels like a while but I literally have no idea.

Braxton hicks?

I think I’m having occasional Braxton Hicks contractions today - I can’t be sure though but it feels like a period cramps/squeezing really low down in my abdomen.
Anyway, they’ve been really irregular, like 1 every few hours for a few mins, I’m just wondering if I should maybe track them on the contraction timer app just to be sure there’s no pattern? Has anyone else done this? I don’t wanna overreact 😂.

Induction window

Advice please 😊
I was given an induction window Friday - Today and was told I could expect a call day or night to go to hospital to be induced. They haven’t phoned me as of yet, is it worth ringing them or waiting it out? Has anyone else experienced this? Not really sure what I do if they don’t call me tonight.
Thank you!!
