The baby is supposed to wake up every 2-3 hours my baby is two months old I keep him on 2 oz nightly and 3oz daily but I’m also putting oatmeal in his bottles as per his pediatrician recommended due to constant spit ups he still spits up but not as much anymore

My daughter is the same. Sometimes she’ll eat 8 with a 30-40 minute break after eating 6oz. Not all babies eat the same. Ideally they should be at 4-5oz but not always.

My daughter will do anything from 3-6oz the last couple of days its been less. I've just been going up as she seems to need it but shes 7 weeks old. So I was doing 4 oz but she would keep crying for more food. Id wait a little bit and burp her and make sure there was nothing else and giving her time to make sure her brain caught up to her stomach but she still wanted more so we increased

Editing to add: please dont panic if your baby sleeps longer than 3 hours. My baby has done a 7 hour stretch at night when she ate a lot before bed. In my experience, as long as babes is gaining weight & your pediatrician doesn't have concerns, baby will let you know when they are hungry

Latching when breastfeeding

Hi girls, I am a first time mum to my 2 week old and I’m trying my hardest to exclusively breastfeed but she doesn’t latch properly all the time. I know she can get a good latch as we have achieved it previously however most times she will not latch and it will hurt me. My other issue is that she will not latch with a bottle either when I offer one! Any advice or tips to help with latching would be so appreciated xxx

Is It Okay If My Husband Give My Niece a Bath?

I am going to Maryland to get my niece from my sister for a Month. But my Husband is going to watch my son and My niece while I’m working during the week. And my mom will have both kids on the weekends. I was thinking is it Okay to let my Husband bathe my Niece if I am unable to? I feel like it’s Okay but I Feel like it’s not only because that’s not his Blood. He give my son a Bath (That’s his Stepfather who is technically his father because he raised him). I apologize in advance if I made it sound weird 🤦🏽‍♀️. I just don’t want to Do the wrong thing.

Naps during the day

My baby is just over 2 months now and refuses to sleep during the day unless me or husband are holding her, the last few days we've noticed that she'll sleep fine during the day if we place her on her stomach, she hasn't started rolling over yet and doesn't seem like she's going to start soon either, so quite concerned about doing this (constantly checking on her during the day if she's on her front with a monitor aswell) but it's the only way we can do anything at home if we're on our own. At night she has no problem sleeping on her back and will easily do 7 hours straight on her back. Is it ok to leave her on her front for day naps while constantly monitoring her?

Toddler nap

What would you do if your toddler passed out exhausted at 5pm?

Just venting

I’m have a 6 week old and I simultaneously love and hate raising her at the same time. I love her so much, but also hate some of the changes to my life. I miss alone time with my husband, consistent sleep, me time.

Hated baths and nappy changes

Every single nappy change despite offering toys and distractions, my lo screams as if he is being brutally tortured and twists his body so much we are terrified he’ll get hurt. Just turned 1 and he has never kicked off like this before. Now despite always loving his baths these seem to be a dislike too. I have just tried to bath him and as soon as he was in the water he went into screaming hysteria and caused himself to hyperventilate. Honestly never seen him in such a bad state and I’ve wanted to cry with him. Any ideas what could be behind these changes and anything we can do? He had toys in the bath tonight which didn’t help or work
