Hated baths and nappy changes

Every single nappy change despite offering toys and distractions, my lo screams as if he is being brutally tortured and twists his body so much we are terrified he’ll get hurt. Just turned 1 and he has never kicked off like this before. Now despite always loving his baths these seem to be a dislike too. I have just tried to bath him and as soon as he was in the water he went into screaming hysteria and caused himself to hyperventilate. Honestly never seen him in such a bad state and I’ve wanted to cry with him. Any ideas what could be behind these changes and anything we can do? He had toys in the bath tonight which didn’t help or work

Effects of heat - is this normal?

It's 30 degrees where I am. My 8 month old is in just a nappy, there's a fan on (not pounting at my daughter), and the door is open. She woke up at 4 am and ended up sleeping in our room as it's cooler until 06 30.

She's extra tired and cuddly (has already slept 2.5hrs today and she's asleep on me again) - is this normal in this kind of heat?

She's eating normally and no concern about wet nappies (I think her top teeth are about to cut though)

Single mums

My baby is 10 weeks old and me and my fiancé are struggling, he’s constantly blaming me for things, saying I don’t give him much love and he feels worthless, I feel emotionally worn down and unlike myself, I’m being referred for postpartum depression/anxiety, he dismiss’ my mental health even though he struggles with both, he has adhd and can get very angry and swearing around the baby, we had a huge argument where I left in the middle of night to go to my mums because he was also slamming doors, I think he’s been trying to meet other women, he says as friends but it just seems to be regularly, he doesn’t take much accountability, I’m scared of losing my baby (shared) and myself.

Any other single mums have any advice on their experiences and how they cope being a single mum and if anyone’s left their partner when their baby is young. We are also due to get married next year. I just don’t want to leave but also don’t want my son growing up in an unhealthy environment.

Yoto or toniebox?

Hi ladies I have a 13 month old and lately I’m feeling guilty that he is having a bit too much screen time! I find myself having to put it on when I need to get stuff done/ get ready for work/ or just have 5 minutes! At first he would still play and it would be just on in the background but now when it’s on he’s just glued to the screen! I have to also put it on whenever I change his nappy because soon as I lie him Down he just rolls over which makes nappy changing rather difficult ! Someone mentioned a toniebox so had a look and I’ve seen some good reviews, but I’ve also seen people mention a yoto box! Just wondered what people’s thoughts were ? Thanks x

Insane prices for soft play

I was looking at taking my 18 month old to a soft play today with her dad. The price of our local soft play is £22 which to me is crazy as half the stuff she won't be able to use. Does anyone else find it hard to justify a price like that.
