Latching when breastfeeding

Hi girls, I am a first time mum to my 2 week old and I’m trying my hardest to exclusively breastfeed but she doesn’t latch properly all the time. I know she can get a good latch as we have achieved it previously however most times she will not latch and it will hurt me. My other issue is that she will not latch with a bottle either when I offer one! Any advice or tips to help with latching would be so appreciated xxx

Is It Okay If My Husband Give My Niece a Bath?

I am going to Maryland to get my niece from my sister for a Month. But my Husband is going to watch my son and My niece while I’m working during the week. And my mom will have both kids on the weekends. I was thinking is it Okay to let my Husband bathe my Niece if I am unable to? I feel like it’s Okay but I Feel like it’s not only because that’s not his Blood. He give my son a Bath (That’s his Stepfather who is technically his father because he raised him). I apologize in advance if I made it sound weird 🤦🏽‍♀️. I just don’t want to Do the wrong thing.

Waking baby for feed

Hi all
I’m finding it difficult to let go of the 2-3 hour wake ups over night! My baby is 4 1/2 weeks and typically still wakes up every 3hrs 20mins for a feed. However sometimes he will sleep longer and I find myself worrying about why he hasn’t woken up and if I should wake him. Are you all letting your little ones sleep longer once they’re over birth weight?

Thank you ☺️

Never a second from Baby 💔🥹

Hey everyone 💫💗

I find that I’m constantly with my 10week old constantly. She’s feeding on demand and find when breastfeeding and trying to get the wind up I’m unable to get enough out for her to settle down for the 2-3hrs ☹️💔 not to mention I’m sleep deprived running on crumbs. As we speak it’s 4am she’s just had some milk and she fell asleep and didn’t burp. I have 0 friends mind you and feel absolutely helpless and lonely. I’m going through PPD as well unfortunately which sucks.

Thanks for the advice in advance 💗💗

Heat

Anyone else’s baby completely knocked out with this heat?

I don’t know if it’s normal or not but my little boy was asleep for 1.5 hours earlier before. Then he woke up for his bum done (only 1 wee in the nappy after 3 hours) and bottle so he was awake for a total of 40 minutes and then he’s fell asleep and has been asleep for 2.5 hours as that’s him out for the night but he hasn’t had a wet nappy in 3 hours. His nappy is still bone dry and he had a 7oz bottle right before he went back to sleep.

He has also been extremely whingy today with squealing and crying constantly.

Is this normal? I don’t remember it being like this with my daughter in 2024 when it was really hot weather.

Screaming every night

My baby is 5 weeks old and for the last 2 weeks the evenings have been terrible. It gets to 6pm and he becomes so fussy and frantic. He’s really difficult to feed because he’s constantly crying. Nothing seems to work. We make sure his nappy is clean, try to burp him, try taking him for walks and offer the breast regularly but nothing works. He’s a completely different baby in the day, really happy and not grizzly at all. Is this just a phase? Is this normal for a 5 week old?
Any tips are very welcome!
