I’m awake currently for my middle of the night pump and my almost 5 week old has been asleep now for 5 hours without waking up. Her night time sleep stretches have definitely gotten progressively longer, but seeing her sleep for so long without even stirring because she’s hungry is freaking me out. She fought every single nap yesterday and probably only slept for a total of 4ish hours during the day.. could that be a reason she’s sleeping so long? I hate complaining about how long my baby sleeps because I know some people are in the trenches but I’m definitely worrying about it.. did I mention I’m a first time mom? 😅

Honestly every night changes. Our youngest gave us a few 5 hour stretches I thought yay 😁 but nope hes 4 months today and we are waking every 3 hours in the night for a feed regardless of how much sleep he has in the day 😴

Babies are good at listening to their body and telling you what they need. She might just need a tad more sleep and thats ok. At this age as long as they are putting on weight as expected just let them sleep. Both my babies have been EBF and I only ever demand fed both (my youngest is 5 months). You slowly adjust to it all
