If you're around a year, you can still gave a succeful vbac. You don't got to wait until 18 months. Which is great because your body is healed enough to have another baby and it can still be close in age to their sibling. However, it does decreases your chances if you have one before a year and you can be induced.

I chose an elective for my second (18 month gap between births), but I have a good friend who had the same gap, also an emergency c-section the first time, and successful VBAC The second time.

For me personally they were actually pushing me toward VBAC (I’d gotten to 10cm and pushing the first time so they said I was a prime candidate)

So it’s definitely doable

Staying home means watching this all day with no break — toddler keeps hurting the baby 😭

There is no clocking out. no break from watching it happen. I am home all day managing two kids where one keeps going for the other and I have nothing left by the end of the day. the love is completely there. so is the exhaustion. anyone else carrying this? 💙

need advice

Im just wondering if there is any one out there that is past 37 weeks had a scan done and seen that there little one is engaged?
I had alot of movement yesterday/last night with my little one. Going to go to bed and the cramping started but they didn't last long and adventually I was able to go to bed.
I woke up the morning able to get out of bed straight away walk and didn't have a limp like I usually done with my sciatica and also was able to sit oj my bed and bend over to pick my phone up of the ground that was on charge with out my belly getting in the way.
I dont see my consultant until Monday so will be all the wiser then if baby is engaged I just hope he is and thats what the cramping was for

Reassurance

Just wondering if anyone else went through this. I’m genuinely anxious

So I’m 18 weeks pregnant, and I started spotting around 12pm today. I thought nothing of it because it can sometimes be normal. But I kept spotting till 8pm. I went to the er and they said that the baby is very low on my pelvis when he should be higher by now. The ultrasound showed the heartbeat (I wasn’t shown it) and they said that everything looks normal but they can’t do more testing because there was no one at the lab to test my blood samples or swab. They sent me home still bleeding (the spotting was pink earlier but now it’s gotten to a brighter red color) I have tender pelvis but no pain. Has anyone gone through something similar? Being sent home with no explanation and still bleeding to me is wild.
