The struggle is real and he doesn't care one bit

Yeah, he’s putting us through it. Will pee when we put him on, but will just pee himself if we don’t. Don’t even get us started on poops. I’ve just ordered googly eyes for the potty 👀🤦🏻‍♀️

We just started 2 weeks ago, and she just turned 3 on the weekend. It's going okay - not there yet, but getting it slowly!

Yup! Both of my twins aren’t. I’m aiming to do it asap for my little girl. My little boy is slightly delayed in terms of development so he’s not ready yet!

Working on it with our little girl. I downloaded the potty whizz app to use the timer to remind me to ask regularly. She likes pressing the buttons and likes the mini celebration. Good days and some accidents, but we are getting a bit more consistent.
Using a mix of knickers in the house and pull ups while out. She is starting to ask herself a bit more. Finding she is getting better at asking while out probably as we fit in visits for me since having her I have a pea size bladder 🤦‍♀️.

My Little girl isn't yet, She's not there yet. She still not communicating well. But i'm making sure it's done at least before she start school next year !

Started last Thursday. Its been a struggle! Thought she had cracked it on Wednesday as she kept taking herself to the potting and weeing but the last 2 days she just seems panicky when needing to go and not wanting to go on the potty but also doesn’t want to wear pull ups

Not fully, she doesn’t really say anything when she needs the toilet I have to take her, we have daily poo accidents been training since mid Feb 😭

Has anyone ever just completely changed their lives to have a massive reset?

Basically tomorrow we tell our family’s that we’ve ever so slightly blown up our entire lives!

I’m going to tell my mum and my in-laws that not only have we sold my business that I’ve had for 9 years but we’ve also sold our home that we’ve been renovating for the past four years. AND after telling everyone we were one and done turns out I’m actually 10 weeks pregnant with baby # 2! 🥹

We decided after Christmas that we just didn’t enjoy certain aspects of our lives so we decided it was time for a change. The problem was we had so many big responsibilities what with my business and the house that it felt impossible to reshuffle our lives in order to get happy again. So we’ve got rid of it all except for my husbands stable and well paid job.

It’s been unbelievably emotional and scary but so far I’ve no regrets.

Has anyone else just decided to simplify their lives in order to start again? I’d love to hear your stories

9 month old still not eating solids

Hi all! I have a sweet 9 month old boy. I have no worries about him other than he is still not eating solids. He will sporadically taste a little here and there, but otherwise completely refuses it and just wants his formula.

I have made food myself, bought baby food, have given him different foods to play around with and explore texture. I make it as low key as possible for him and am trying to encourage him to play, but he still refuses to eat and mealtimes always end in tears.

I’ve talked to his doctor and I have it set up to have a developmental professional help me out, and some therapy to look at his speech down the line.

Has anyone else experienced this? I just don’t know what to do at this point and I just hope he starts eating something at some point. My baby just seems adverse to it.

Mother in law doesn’t see us (Including her grandchildren) for 10 months because she’s too busy jumping from man to man….

Rant about SIL views on solids 🫠

So, my SIL says things with the best intentions but they still make me slowly die inside!

My boy has never slept through the night. Her daughters apparently did from 3 weeks. Bearing in my mind my boy is probably 3x the size of her daughters at 6 months, he feeds at night. Always has.

She’s saying to me that as soon as he starts eating solids he’ll sleep through. Should I believe this????

Also, she said to pretty much push it on him. As the faster he learns to eat full meals the better he’ll sleep.

ALSO, to top actual food with fruit purees 😳

My partner does support me but I can tell that he can easily be swayed by his sister. I don’t have any siblings so, other than friends, I don’t really have family in my ear.

Tell me I’m not being highly strung here! Or tell me that I am 🤣🤣

How much time does your Childs Dad get to him self for his hobbies?

Some advice please!

My second one is due in Oct and I’m really stressing about the hospital stay. My 3 year old will be in preschool but my partner and I don’t have any help.

Has anyone stayed in the hospital alone overnight and part of the evening while your partner goes home to care for the toddler?

I have to have a c-section so I’ll probably be at the hospital for a minimum of 2-3 nights. I don’t know what I’m going to do! 😢
