Hey ladies 💕
I’m a stay-at-home mum and lately I’ve been feeling the pressure of the cost of living. My partner has been working so hard to support our family, and I hate seeing how exhausted he is.
To try and help out financially, I’ve recently started making candles from home. It’s completely outside my comfort zone, but I’m hoping it gives me a way to contribute while still being home with my little one.
I’d love to hear from other mums who have started a small business, side hustle, or found ways to earn an income while raising their kids. How did you get started, and what helped you keep going when things felt overwhelming?
Always looking to connect with other mums who get it 💛

I started a YouTube channel in 2020, mainly teaching other women how to formulate skincare products at home. Over time, my channel grew, along with my other social media platforms. Now that I have a larger audience, my goal is that once we move into a bigger house (hopefully by the end of this year), I can start packaging and selling the products as well.
I still earn income from watch time and sponsorships, but I'd love to take it a step further and sell the products too.
At one point, I considered making videos about homemade candles, but I never gave it much thought.
I wish you the besssssssttttt 🫶🏾💕

While on maternity leave with my youngest, we started a property investment business, yes you do need a bit of an initial investment, but now we have 1 rent to service accommodation property (R2SA) then makes an average of £1k profit per month and I also get paid for finding others their own profitable R2SA properties.
This has allowed me to cut my hours in half as I go back to work soon.
