16 days post c section bleeding
I stopped bleeding around 7 day mark after my c section, I’ve just had quite a big gush of blood at 16 days post op. (soaked through my pants & trousers) anyone else experience similar? Is it worth contacting triage?
I’m just seeing what happens over next hour or so whether it’s a one off or it continues but any reassurance/advice would be great 🙃
Feel fine in myself and I very much hate wasting people’s time so are hesitant on contacting triage🙈

I had this and the midwife said it’s because my uterus was shrinking so it was still continuing to push out any ‘leftovers’ 🥲
I would contact triage, they will probably ask you if the bleeding is reducing
I bled for 8 weeks solid after my c-section a year ago, think I got my first period straight after post birth bleeding. If you are worried it’s always worth asking
I bled for a week then had a few days not but then I bled for 12 weeks x
