TLC for boobies on the larger end of the scale.

Breastfeeding mama here, and my poor boobs look like a sad elephants ears - huge and droopy.

Any recommendations for nursing bras the actually offer support and lift? I’ve never been a fan of underwires but if that’s what it takes to stop me kicking my tits when I walk then so be it… these non-wired ones are no match for my bazoomas right now.

Also, what breast pads are we using? The disposable ones get scrunched up and trapped under the boob, the inserts fold over on themselves, and the reusables disappear with socks in the wash. At a loss here!

Hi lovely! I found the M&S ones so good! They keep the girls up and give me a little shape that I quite like! Not sure about the breast pads tho as I don’t use them :)

I got a really good one from a brand called cake. My boobs look like they’re in a bra and have support rather than a uni boob just bobbing about!

I also hate underwiring, so I use a brand called Hofish for nursing bras on amazon. Good value for money and the clips are nice and easy to use and lob a boob out when you got to feed.
They come with extended fabric hooks to make them larger in the back if needs be. I took out the padding that come with and threw that away as I don't like the extra padding.

Tried a few different breast pads and find the lansinoh ones to be quite good albeit expensive. They hold leakage rather well and stick to the bras well too. Unfortunately, after a few hours of wear they do get scrunched up and sometimes get lost under the boob, sticking to the boobs rather than the bra but that's usually a sign to change them for me 🤷🏽‍♀️

Be careful with underwire make sure the bra is well fitted and you get measured otherwise you risk blocked ducts/ mastitis if it’s too tight!

Lansinoh breast pads are unmatched in my opinion! x

I put my reusable pads into a net laundry bag when washing x

When does it get easier?

I have a 1 year old girl and she’s incredible but I’m just waiting for it to get easier. I think it did (a little bit) get easier at the 6 month mark but now at 1 I feel like it’s gone back to being v hard and… I’m not sure. Is there an age you get to sleep again? Or not be in pain (breasts are still sore).

Topless Sunbathing

My baby is 10 months old and prior to being pregnant, I'd have no worries about sunbathing topless (in an appropriate setting like my garden or on holiday where there are no children). Since having the baby, it almost feels inappropriate now. Thoughts?

What time do you wake up?

This is a random question but, what time do you wake up realistically as a SAHM?

Has anyone had anymore visits from the health visitor since baby was born?

Mine is 8 montns now, and I only had my health visitor come to see him 1 time. I don't really know how often or how many times they are suppose to visit you, but when I had my daughter, I remember seeing them more than I have seen them when I had my son

Dirty nappies have suddenly decreased after 4 weeks?

Has anyone else noticed a drop in dirty nappies? We were changing 2 -3 a day and now it’s gone to 1 in 48 hours and we have now gone over that still waiting on a poo. Baby is happy in herself and having lots of wet nappies and when she goes it’s huge but very loose so not constipated. Just worried as it’s aligned with her being fussier feeding around this age.
