Congratulations to all of the mama’s that have given birth! Hope you’re all doing well. I need some insight, how is it really with a newborn and a toddler? 😂 I’m due at the end of June which is creeping up and I’m getting nervous now although I can’t wait to not be pregnant anymore!

100% easier than it is being pregnant with a toddler 😅
It took a day for our just turned 3 year old to adjust and now it’s honestly like it’s matured him in seconds

How old is your toddler?

I'm 38 weeks and my due date is approaching too for my first born. I've enjoyed pregnancy although 3rd trimester and pelvic pains have been harder. Life after pregnancy and having a newborn is getting alittle more real. Any advice on having a newborn and being a new mum

I'm 38 weeks with baby number 3, I have a 4.5 year old and an almost 2 year old. When we brought our second born home it took a week or so for our eldest to adjust but with my husband being on paternity it wasn't such an issue for us. We just made sure he got quality time from each of us and tried not to make a huge deal of baby while he adjusted. Obviously as they get older they need more attention in different ways so the dynamic shifts along the way but try and prepare your little one by reading books about being an older sibling and talking to them about how life might be with a new baby and what routines might look like for a while.
When your eldest meets baby it's a good idea to have baby in the cot/moses basket and not being held by either of you because it can be quite overwhelming for them to see you with a new baby. Baby wear a lot if you can in the early weeks/months.
Having said all of this I found newborn and toddler a lot easier than pregnant and toddler. Good luck 🥰🥰
