Pregnancy pillows

I was wondering what these were for? I think they help you stay on your side while sleeping ? Are they actually any good , I was thinking to get one but not sure when the best time was to get one . I also move a lot in my sleep so idk if this will help or not.

They help you stay on your side, but it also helps to sort of cushion bump as you get further into the pregnancy I believe. Some of them can also be used when you’re nursing baby. I got one really quite early (possibly at about 8 or 10 weeks) and I love it, I’m a front sleeper by nature but that’s increasingly difficult as bump grows!

I have a U one and it supports my knees and helps keep me on my left side!

I used mine even before pregnancy to support my joints while side sleeping. I was lucky and got it for free on Facebook Marketplace!

Has anyone taken this with their previous pregnancy and everything is fine with their baby? (E.g no autism, disabilities)

Pregnancy has humbled me

July mamas. I know we are coming to the end of our pregnancies but I just wanted to find out what has really humbled you about your pregnancy.

I thought about this this morning when I was shaving my legs and for the first time ever I had hairy knees. It's a little things that you don't even realize you take for granted like not needing to shave your knees 😂

What is surprised you and humbled you?

It’s just me?

I’m a very anxious person and I’m scared to panic during labor and giving birth. I’m scared I won’t be able to do it. Any advice?

TW: pregnancy after recurring loss

This is my 4th pregnancy and will be my first baby on the earth side. I’m currently 20+5 weeks, previously had 2 first trimester miscarriages and 1 TFMR on the second, and honestly I’m constantly scared that something will go wrong again!
I kept telling myself that after heartbeat I’d be fine, then the 12 weeks scan, 16 weeks, 20 anomaly scan… all came back normal but I cannot chill.
I do allow myself to buy little clothes and we’ve just got our pram, but I keep checking return policies just in case. I overthink even baby’s movement if they feel too strong on the “wrong” place; keep checking preterm survival stats because what if my body fail me again and he’s born early…
For mums with similar journey, does it ever go away? Was that while you were pregnant or when your baby is born?

Guilt

Anyone else find themselves constantly starving during the first trimester… I’m always feeling snackish or just straight up hungry but I’ve got my own mother making comments about it and idk if I’m just being sensitive but it makes me feel so rubbish
