Should I have gave him a Father’s Day gift?

Long story short I didn’t get a gift for Mother’s Day neither a “happy Mother’s Day” from my child’s father and we are supposedly together. He lives in my apartment. I pushed for rent all the time and it’s a struggle. He’s very disrespectful to me. But a good father to his kids. I had ordered a Father’s Day gift with him and his kids embroidered on a tshirt before Mother’s Day. It came yesterday and I hesitated and thought hard on whether to him give him or burn it. Two nights before the package came he picked up our daughter from my cousin two blocks away from the train station that I got off coming from the school. I asked to pick me up he said no twice after asking him. So I said fuck it. Later that night I found out he bought a new truck. Was i oissed about him getting a new car? No, I was pissed I had to hound him down for rent and hep with groceries every month. Sam day he wanted to give me half of the money for rent. I said no I need the full amount. I was once homeless with my child because of him. Definitely not happening. So I gave him an ultimatum my rent or get the fuck out. He thought I’m jealous. I have a car that he damage the bumper and still haven’t fixed it then have the audacity to wake me why is my car not fixed if I had found another man. (Dude you fucked my car up). He went on to say I am nothing without him, if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be where I’m at. Mind you I put my self through school twice and is currently almost done with my RN program. I went from being homeless into a one bed room apartment without his help. My place is well furnished and not one cent was given by him. He has a 10 year old son that they both disrespected me a couple months ago. Do I hate this man, I fucking do, I don’t want to be with him but I need his support with physical help with his child so I can finish school. And I don’t know if he would stop helping because I broke things off.

Vinted Dilemma

Hi I have a silly question as I’m genuinely unsure of what to do… apologies in advance that this not motherhood related!

I use Vinted a lot! To sell and buy, I received a top today and it has deodorant and armpit stains, to be honest this gross me out and pissed me off a bit because obviously it was not shown in the pictures, it was only £3 so I don’t know if I’d be making a big fuss by either reporting it was not as described as they do say it has to be significantly different which is not it’s just very dirty and cero attempt to clean it clearly or to accept it but leave a bad-ish review? I never leave bad reviews, if anything I make it a point to always leave good reviews because my score means a lot to me so I assume is the same for other people as well… what do you think??

Also, I don’t think I can even re sell the top because we know how difficult those stains are to solve!

Mobile phone

What age have people giving their children phone? I wasn’t allowed one till my older brother got one first. So think I was 13 or something and that was my brother pass down one. Obviously I am aware how times have changed since the 90s and how advance technology/ social media influence children now.

What should I Do?

I’m a 23 year old SAHM. My LO is coming up to 2 and I love being a mum and getting to be with her however me and my partner are struggling on just one wage now. We really wanted no more than a 3 year age gap and i’m desperate to have a second child now, I just know my LO would love to have a sibling too. However we’re currently trying to move house (as it’s only a 2 bed) and we really need a new place now especially if we have another child. My partner has a really good job and a good wage and yet we’re still barely getting by. I keep saying I feel like i’m going to have to get a job and scrap the idea of a 2nd child off (even though that makes me really sad) But my partner thinks by him doing overtime he’ll get more than i’ll get from working and added childcare costs etc (which he is right as he could earn what I would earn in 10hrs in 2) but I want to help and have my own income.
How do you all manage and any advice? I really don’t want to give up this precious time with my little girl & I wish we could have another too. I love being a mum, couldn’t imagine doing anything else at the moment :(
(no judgement please)

You ever wrestled with deciding to throw something out bc of sentimental value, so you just decide to leave it alone until one day you’re just fed up with the clutter and start rage cleaning?

I realize I do this all the time lol

Slow to warm up toddler helppp 😩

I have a 2.5 year old girl who is.. “spirited”.. to say the least. She socializes very well with children and a few of her most trusted adults (aunt, teacher, grandma.) however, when pretty much anyone else tries to talk to her or literally even look at her she screams her head off. I thought it was stranger danger last year but she never outgrew it. I can’t even check out with a cashier at the grocery store, we have to do self checkout so she doesn’t have a meltdown. She also has this behavior when family visits. It takes her literally days to warm up to someone. She does go to daycare part time and has no issue at all with drop off or pick up. We also recently have made small advances (someone can give her a balloon or sucker at the store and she will say thank you and take it)

The problem is, we have a big event and like 10 of my husbands relatives are coming to stay with us. She has met them all but doesn’t know them well. I am extremely nervous that she is going to lay screaming and kicking in the floor for 3 days. Is there anything I can do to help her through this and make the process easier? We have already warned everyone to not contact her directly but to let her come to them at her own time.

I am sooooo nervous. Every time we visit family she won’t let me put her down and it’s literally starting to give me a shoulder problem. Please tell me someone out there can relate.
