Mummas, those that have harvested colostrum in prep for baby, how are we taking it and keeping it safe in the hospital, I have over 30ml rn, and can go on for at least another week and few days before my csection, how are we transporting and keeping it safe for baby?

Take the syringes in a ziplock bag in a cooler and they should have somewhere for you to store them in the fridge.
I personally wouldn’t take more than 10ml because it will go to waste if not used. You can also express some while you’re in hospital if you run out!

They told me they don't have a freezer at the hospital so when the syringe defrost, it will get spoiled very quickly. So they said do not take it with you, send the dad to get it later instead.

I took mine with an ice pack in a bag, they put it straight in the freezer. I only took 5ml with me, luckily my milk came in straight away though
