But whenever I speak to say I rather get a another c section if they offer induction

This is me 🤣 for me it’s because I was induced with my first and I just think my body wasn’t ready at all.
Baby was monitored and happy throughout but I was in the stages of induction for 2-3 days then in labour for 30 hours and still only got to 2cm dilated. That’s when they decided to do an emergency c section. However I do have friends who have had really positive induction stories.

Because 80% of them end in an emergency c-section which is not many people's ideal birth choice🤷‍♀️ mine did, it was traumatic and truly horrendous, I'd rather an elective section than going through all that again any day

Silly questions

Does anyone else ever read a post and think “why tf are you asking us this and not calling a doctor!?” I understand this is a place to share advice, thoughts, and opinions.. but are some questions really necessary? for example one person asked a question about sex being painful after a surgery, and another asked if they should get their baby medical attention because their newborn had accidentally gone under dirty water during bath time. Why on earth would you take the time to write a whole paragraph about how your baby was under dirty water, right after it happened, instead of calling a health professional for advice??? I honestly think some of these questions put out there are ridiculous and need to be taken to a professional instead of waisting time asking strangers on an app.

Finding second C-section recovery so much harder!

Laddies I need all your tips and tricks to a smooth recovery.
I’m 5 days post elective C-section after having twins . My first C-section was 3 years ago and an emergency.
This time I am struggling ALOT I’m keeping ontop of ibuprofen and paracetamol but still on a fair amount of pain especially on the side they’ve tied of.
I’m really struggling to poo! It’s there and waiting to come out but generally feels like I have a cork up my arse (when I wipe there’s soft poo on the tissue I just can’t get it to come out)
I’m not breastfeeding but my boobs are soooo engorged
My ankles n feet generally hurt from the swelling
My back is absolutely killing from sleeping on it (I’m a stomach/side sleeper but it’s to painful to even try these positions)

I am staying mobile that isn’t a problem, ince I’m up and moving I’m fine but getting up is BAD

Please anyone send help 😩 my twins are fast asleep yet I’m wide awake because I’m in so much discomfort

First movements!

I felt baby girl move for the first time at 15 weeks but just once, and then nothing else. Now a week and a half later and I feel like I’ve been noticing little movements allll day 🥹. It finally is feeling real! When did you first feel your baby move?
