Laddies I need all your tips and tricks to a smooth recovery.
I’m 5 days post elective C-section after having twins . My first C-section was 3 years ago and an emergency.
This time I am struggling ALOT I’m keeping ontop of ibuprofen and paracetamol but still on a fair amount of pain especially on the side they’ve tied of.
I’m really struggling to poo! It’s there and waiting to come out but generally feels like I have a cork up my arse (when I wipe there’s soft poo on the tissue I just can’t get it to come out)
I’m not breastfeeding but my boobs are soooo engorged
My ankles n feet generally hurt from the swelling
My back is absolutely killing from sleeping on it (I’m a stomach/side sleeper but it’s to painful to even try these positions)
I am staying mobile that isn’t a problem, ince I’m up and moving I’m fine but getting up is BAD
Please anyone send help 😩 my twins are fast asleep yet I’m wide awake because I’m in so much discomfort

I have found it is easier to sleep on my side when there is a pillow against/under my stomach or a pillow behind my back also helps with the pain. ❤️ I hope your recovery goes smoothly and is quick

I'm 4 days post-3rd C-section and definitely finding this one a lot harder/more painful... unless I've forgotten. I had one poop in the hospital and have been struggling on that end also. I finally just went! But it was hard to get out. I took Colace a few hours ago so I'm putting it down to that!
I hear you on the swollen feet. Mine look like sausages. So gross. I also have a nasty rash on my belly. Sleep has been almost nonexistent because I also prefer sleeping on my side but it hurts too badly to try to get up from that position, so I've been basically sitting up sleeping... get a few hours here and there. I want to pump and breastfeed but I've been struggling with everything else haven't focused on it enough yet.
Hope things get better for us soon! Nice to know I'm not alone.

I found this second c section far.more.beural.ghan the first- my only advice is to get a c section belt (I also got some shape wear shorts to add some compression to.the wound and make my stomach feel more supported!) and try putting something in front of your toilet that you can put your feet on to try and help you go! Good luck and congratulations 😍
