I know lots of people have posted about this already but I needed to make my own because I’m low key freaking out.
I just saw the consultant, she said everything is looking great except my blood pressure is a little high and my BMI is high. She said that I need to go to a day assessment clinic once a week to be monitored for my blood pressure and to keep an eye on any swelling etc.
She also says she advises I be induced between 39 and 40 weeks.
What old wives tales can I try to make sure I don’t need the induction? 🙃
Any other advice?
(I know everyone says “just say no” but if it’s medically necessary I don’t feel like I should say no 🤷🏻♀️)

I said no to induction (the don’t want me to go past 40 weeks due to high risk of preclampsia). I’ll have a c-section instead if he’s not born before the due date.

In all honesty they’re all old wives tales, I don’t think there are any proven methods 🙈
But you can try:
- curb walking
- Dates
- Raspberry leaf tea
-Spicy Food
- Bedroom Time
-Nipple stimulation
