37weeks 4 days - feeling unwell

Start of the week I had traces of protein in my urine & had 2 lots of bloods for preeclampsia, but today I’ve woken and I feel so wiped out. I have such a headache again it’s like the rooms spinning when I close my eyes, nausea, my belly hurts like poo cramping but I don’t need to go.

I’m fed up of going up there as they say just to rest which I’m doing but I feel so shit. My c section isn’t until the 16th but I feel so wiped. Apparently there’s no room to fit it next week so I have to try wait till then. I’m 3/5 engaged so hoping baby comes sooner but I know it might take a while. My first came at 39weeks so hoping this one comes early too.

There is always room to fit surgery in if it’s required for yours or babies health. Please call triage if you’re feeling unwell. Your symptoms don’t sound normal!

If I were you, and not trying to scare you, but I would go to L&D to get checked ASAP. The cramps and the headache sent my spidey senses into high gear. + the extreme overwhelming tiredness. I was in there getting checked earlier this week and I saw a poster that said these symptoms = emergency room in their triage room. It is always better to go and be told everything is okay than to not, but these symptoms are concerning. Definitely go in if you start feeling any worse at all. I hope you start to feel better

You poor thing, hang in there! Fingers crossed bubs comes beforehand 🤞

I would go to triage. There is always space for emergency C-sections so don’t even let that discourage you. Always better to go there and find out it’s nothing that to stay home!

I normally have severe constipation but past few days it’s been loose. Just now I went and there was mucus on the tissue. Is that normal??

Ring triage and they can check you over make sure everything is okay. The loose stool often happens when your body is getting ready for labour and it’s cleaning itself out but the other symptoms don’t sound normal x

Definitely go back they can’t turn you away these are not normal o had preeclampsia with my first and the side effects of it were horendus exactly the way you r it’s not fun at all keep going speak to someone ask for a second opinion xx you know your body and baby’s so u know what’s right n what’s not

Anyone else dealing with negativity from friends? And symptoms that seemed to have gotten slightly better that your worried if everything is still ok?

Apologies first of all for the long post! First pregnancy currently 8w 4d.
33 years old

I told some friends about my pregnancy and some close colleague’s who I know will support me and look after me at work if I have a day I feel rough etc . I told my colleagues that I have been extremely bloated by the end of the day and after dinner and two of them (in their late 40’s and mid 50’s) both came back with lots of negative comments saying “I shouldn’t be bloated this early on”, “most people wouldn’t even know they were pregnant this early” “with both of my pregnancy’s I was never bloated in the first trimester and definitely not with a first pregnancy as your body doesn’t know what it’s doing”
I felt a bit upset and a bit on the defence as both of their last pregnancy’s were 14 and 15 years ago and I felt like they were telling me how to feel and how to not feel and what I was experiencing wasn’t normal?

I’ve got my first midwife appointment early next week that I am nervously excited for! I’ve been having nausea late at night or waking me up early hours every other night but haven’t actually been sick.
Couldn’t bare the smell of salmon that I was about to cook the other night and had me gagging for half an hour, my partner had to get rid of it in the end. The first 4-7 weeks I had very sore breasts and enlarged nipples until the last week they don’t feel as heavy/painful.
Have been very tired and bloated by the end of the day and having a nap after work.
Isit normal to have symptom changes around 8weeks? I’m so worried that I’ve now told a few people, my symptoms have changed and what if something has gone wrong? 😔

Also had a scan at 6w & 2d by a gynaecologist just to confirm all was ok and dr said she could see the heart beating 💕

Congrats to all future Mumma’s can’t wait to hear all your story’s 🥰

Body hair

Does anyone else suffer with extra body hair from being pregnant. I’m 15 weeks and notice I’m getting dark hair on my face and back which grows back quite quickly after removing it. I find it a bit embarrassing so I wonder if there were any tips on removing it ?
